The Sarin MMX2 is the newest in a line of vehicles I first
made for GTA 1&2. This time around, it's in 3D (obviously),
and fully equipped for all your military needs.

To install: Open up 'gta3.img' with IMG Tool (available at
gta3mods.com) and add the 'Sarinmx2.dff'. Then open 'txd.img'
and add 'Sarinmx2.txd' to it. Next, open up 'vehicles.col'
from 'GTAIII\models\Coll' directory, and import the contents
of 'Sarinmx2.col'. This can be done manually using a hex
editor, or by using Steve M's wonderful new CollEditor, which
you can get at http://people.freenet.de/steve-m

The last three steps of installation can be done with notepad,
but I'm sure most of you know the drill on these. In case you
don't, you can find these files in the 'GTAIII\data' folder...

In 'default.ide', find the Rhino's line, and replace with this:

122, Sarinmx2, Sarinmx2, car, RHINO, RHINO, ignore, 1, 7, 0, 164, 0.72

In 'handling.cfg', replace the Rhino line with this:

RHINO 9900.0 2.1 4.5 3.8 0.0 0.0 -0.5 90 1.1 0.99 0.5 4 300.0 50.0 4 D 8.0 0.80 0 30.0 1.6	0.08 1.12 0.01 110000 0.18 -0.14 0.5 7003 0 1

And finally, open up 'carcol.dat', and add the next line
right above where it says "END".

sarinmx2, 31,31, 0,0

This step isn't needed, unless of course you want different
colored versions of the car in-game. Even with this in,
the car will still usually be light grey when you first see
it. After you blow a couple up, the different colors will
start showing up.

Well, that's all for the installation. You're all set to
test out my high-performance, higly destructive new toy. A
word of caution first: Remember, not only do you get to
have fun with it, but soo does the army in the game. They
go completely insane once they get a hold of these things,
so you'ld best be careful once that sixth star kicks in. ;)

PEACE

Copyright 2002 by illspirit, with the exception of the file
format and a couple of leftover textures which were of course
created by Rockstar.

I have tested this with no problems, but in any case, use at
your own risk. I cannot be responsible for any problems that
might arise by using this mod. As with any mod, be sure to
make back ups of any files that will be changed first.

If you wish to redistribute this file, that's fine, just as
long as it is done so in the original zip file, but don't even
think about selling it. Unless you happen to work at Rockstar
or DM, erm, I mean Rockstar North, and like the model enough
to put it in GTA4 or give me a job, feel free to contact me...
