  1. No, actually, you can clearly see the other legs. Look closely.
  2. Being a female is not as great as some may think. Guys have no idea what women go through when it comes to the ever annoying period. It fucking HURTS. First off, you get a "two week warning" that consists of annoying, painful cramps. Then, when your due date arrives, you bleed half to death while still getting cramps, headaches, backaches, stomach aches, mood swings, some people even puke......You retain water so you're all bloated. Your clothes are tighter, your face is fatter, your stomach hangs out. You get that from 3-7 days, every single month, until you hit menopause. Once you hit menopause, you get cold sweats, hot flashes, dizzy, etc. etc. etc. Just think about that. Most females hit puberty by the age of 10 (now it may be younger. Mine hit at the age of 10 and that was 15 years ago) and you go for about 50-60 something years and then you get menopause until you die. Not only that but you have to go through the pain of childbirth and the uncomfortable pap smear, where some stranger gets to poke your vag with tools and fingers, not to mention the ol' mammogram, where your boobs get squished in a machine. Seriously, I'm not all about "girl power" and shit but guys need to respect the garbage we go through. It's not easy being a female and it's rather painful.
  3. Actually, it clearly has 8 legs. You can see two of the legs on each side are so close together that it looks like one leg each but you can see a gap in between.
  4. I'd prefer to have a game that is fun than a game that has amazing graphics. Sure, I love looking at a beautiful game but a game can look pretty and suck. Streets of Rage is one of the greatest series of games ever and it didn't have amazing graphics. It's far better than a lot of visually pretty games.
  5. Uh...what? No, we don't have to call them African Americans. We can call them black people. My friend's opinion was this (she is obviously black): "I am not African or American so I don't need to be called African American. I am black." I have never heard a black person insist on being called an African American. They are fine with being called black. I don't know why people get the impression that calling them black or calling us white is racist. It's the colour of our skin.
  6. I hate it when people say something is crap that they haven't even played yet. You can only pass judgement after you have experienced it. Your opinion is not valid if you haven't played it yet. It's rather silly to say it might be crap when you don't know.
  7. Not really. I'm not fat but if I were and someone called me a fat bitch, I'd tell them I'd rather be a fat bitch than an ugly one.
  8. Not to be an ass but I think anyone who asks to be nominated shouldn't get a nomination. The awards are for people who get noticed for whatever category they are nominated for by their fellow members. If you haven't been nominated, it's because you've done nothing to actually get nominated and it's stupid to try to get people to put you up for an award just because you asked.
  9. I don't know why the idea of a tough female is still such an issue. We already have tons of kick ass chicks in games so I don't find it a shock and awe situation if they make a female the lead.
  10. Weirdest looks? Couldn't that result in someone's suicide???
  11. I got purple streaks <3 They look so fake though, lol. IT ISN'T DAMMIT.
  12. Well, I was playing MK VS DC Universe but my manager wanted to borrow it so I let him. I could see in his eyes how badly he wanted to play it, lol. Anyways, I have some classic downloaded games on my wii that I have been playing until I get off my ass and buy Twilight Princess.
  13. I read today that Donovan McNabb decided to register to vote for the first time once he heard a black man could be the next President. Wow, racist much? Yet who calls these people out? No one. You see all these black celebrities promoting Obama but did they even pay attention to the election or did they just endorse him because of his skin colour? Pretty sure it all had to do with his skin colour.
  14. You don't have to apologise for anything. You have just as much rights to voice your opinion as anyone else here does. It's a discussion forum. Not everyone will agree with everyone else and we are all free to say what we think. I find it pretty pathetic that people are making fun of you and editing your pictures just because of your opinion. It shows how immature and stupid those people are.
  15. It's for the old way of thinking that women should be at home, barefoot and pregnant. I don't get how women get offended by that. I would love to live my life at home, barefoot and pregnant, instead of working.
  16. I don't get how some of you missed the non-seriousness of Harwood's post. Did you fail to see the emoticon at the end? I'm sure he didn't literally mean "pack your bags and get the fuck out" but there really is no need to complain about something that you really have no control over. If that's the way things are, that's the way things are. I wouldn't be happy about doing the same job as a man and being paid less but I wouldn't bother bitching about it. I'd be happy enough to make enough money to pay my bills and live comfortably.
  17. Canadian election are different. It's more "straight to the point" rather than going a few years with campaigning and such. You get your candidates, they do what they gotta do and you vote. Simple as that. The whole process only lasts about a month.
  18. Actually, Canada just had an election last month but no one cared. Canadian elections are boring. The only good thing about them is that they don't last years like American elections.
  19. The thing that pissed me off was being told today "you don't like Obama because he is black". Wow, so I guess that I MUST like him just because of his skin colour? Yes, I wanted McCain to win, but it had nothing to do with skin colour. I didn't see the election as black vs white. I saw two people in a Presidential race. No colours, just people. The funny thing is, if someone didn't want Obama to win and they were white, they were automatically labelled as a racist yet every single black person at my job was jumping for joy and chanting OBAMA, OBAMA, yet no one turned around and called them racists for not wanting McCain to win. What a world we live in.
