  1. Yes, why pay MS on top of an ISP? I got a moddded XB1 yesterday, gonna use kai
  2. For software, anything but free is too expensive
  3. I think I am gonna format Vista and put Ubuntu on mine...
  4. XP always froze for me and I reinstalled every month, with Vista its around 3. This time I think it was longer but its worse. Just gonna keep Ubuntu....
  5. Yeah I am talking about old games.
  6. I dont think GTA4 is better than San Andreas. Rockstar has ****ed me over, do I am not going to buy anything of theirs. Also, I dont have a credit card. UPDATE: well now I was lucky (only got cuz I was lucky) and got a modded Xbox ORIGNAL, NOT 360!) But that wont play GTA IV, not that I really want to...
  7. I though Dream cast was older than that, like 1995 and GTA one was like 1998. But I am only guessing I know GTA1 was for PSone (hey I could play it on my PSP with popstation) and I thought dreamcast was older than PSone!
  8. You may not like this reason but, its on the hatin ass eastside. I would sooner have Rockstar spend the time they spent on that in making San Andreas (stories) for PSP. Plus, its only on nextt gen systems which I dont have. I only own modded consoles.
  9. They had GTA2 for dreamcast? Isnt that like an old console?
  10. Not quite. There is no GTA4 for PC. I dont own any next gen consoles since they cant be modded, but PC kinda is in a way. But GTA4 sucks anyways
  11. Added DC5 to this thread. (Its been a while since I was here )
  12. I should have put what it does, it allows running of older firmwares off the memory stick (I did say which ones it runs). Like Devhook, but uses a Pandora's battery, can run 1.5 on slim.
  13. Before begining you may wanna install Des.Cemetery first, it can be booted as well as time machine (up). 1. Download this file. URL: http://mihd.net/jgwit8 CRC: FDAE0847 MD5: B677E1BE173341852D80EF8DE29649A7 Pass wikipediasucks 2. Take the contents of the folder and make sure your root folder of your memory stick. 3. Now take a 3.60 psar named "360.PSAR" in the root along side the files from the previous step.** 4. From the xMB goto game --> memory stick and run the program that was added. 5. Make or convert the ipl. (I am not sure if TM will do msinst for you right on the PSP or if you have to do this on a PC or with Hell Cat's program. 6. Select the options to install the firmware(s) to the memory stick using the eboots that we put in step two (and the psar in step 3**) 7. To boot time machine shut down the PSP and start up with a Pandora's Battery. -To boot 1.50 on phat only use "X" +To boot 1.5+3.40hw on both use "O" -To boot 3.40 OE on phat only use "Triangle" +To boot 3.60 M33 on slim only use "square" *To boot the old ipl (Step 5) ex. Des Cemetery use "up" on phat only for original Pandora or both for [http://psphomebrew.net/psp/forum_posts.asp?TID=1771&PN=1]DC[/url] *To boot the orignal firmware 3.90 M33-2 or up on a slim or any on phat press anything else (or nothing??) ** Regarding the 360 PSAR ** Regarding the 360 PSAR ** Regarding the 360 PSAR ** Regarding the 360 PSAR There is no update PBP for 3.60 as slims just came with it. The only way to get 3.60 data is to dump the Firmware to a psar file. Many sites dont allow this to be posted cuzza stupid Copyright. If your slim has higher than 3.60 M33 you probably are outta luck. You can try to find one somewhere.. CRC: FD3F85BE MD5: EAA13343C70D9B0337C75B295474C69A Check the firmwares list in Step 7, the ones with + need it, the ones with - dont... * doesnt need that, but needs atleast 3.90 M33 in the flash of a slim (phat dont matter). To boot the old ipl, you of course need . Basically to boot a slim you need it, that sucks I will try to help in any way I can. <-- (I emphasize that any way)
  14. lots of what? "these" is referring to what??
  15. This makes a magic memory stick to boot the PSP in service mode, used for moding (Downgrading or in the case of this M33 Installation). You also need a Pandora's Battery 1. Download the file 2. It is ZIP, extract (You can use 7-Zip File Manager) 3. There is a file called readme that is the original by Dark_AleX. All the files are included 4. There is a folder called ROOT, this should reflect the ROOT of your PSP. Put these files on, Eboots in root, and the folder under PSP/GAME 5. Make sure you are in 3.xx kernel (runs on Slim and fat, non KXploit) 6. It makes the files, follow directions 7. Enjoy your magic memory stick that can install 3.71 M33-2 Directly (3.71 M33-2 Available) 8. Make NAND Backup for each PSP!! You can use backup from phat on slim or slim on phat, or even I cant use my from my Slim to brother's slim, or vice versa, each PSP has it's own NAND! Des.Cemetery 4 Link for new Version (Wikipedia Sucks) CRC: EB12A8B9 Just follow the directions above, except instead of using the download link there, use the one in this setion. It install 3.80 M33-5 (The latest version at this time, even more updated than This thread!!! Also the stick may not be bootable, you might have to MSP format before following these directions and then msinst after... This doesnt appear to work on Vista (although I seen a guide with a msinst screnshot in Vista). Either way if you have Vista and/or fear the command prompt or just want an eazier way, go here for info on Hellcat's 3.xx Pandora Program!! ---------------------------- Des.Cemetery 5 NOTE: Before one would install DC1-4 first, then time machine (as they were made first), now install Time Machine first, then DC5! 1. Download the file URL: Wikipedia Sucks Link CRC: 3C19C945 Pass: none this time! 2. Make the folder root represent the ROOT of your memory stick. 3. From the xMB goto Game --> Memory Stick the run the DC5 program there, it will make the memory stick. It will ask for a button to press to boot DC5, I used up. Do not use any of the "Shape Buttons" (Cross, Circle, Triangle, Square) as these are used to boot firmwares off Time Machine. Please note that if you wish to do this, install Time Machine first, as it was made first (time machine is to be install after DC1-4 and the orignal Pandora since it was made after those). You can install time machine after but have to follow additional steps, so if you want to install it first, or continue on and see the Time Machine section. But don't use the shape buttons, best to just use up as that's the default. 4. You should now have a magic MS that can: Boot the flash (normal boot) Install 3.90 (M33 and OFW) and backup/restore* nand dumps (Hold the key you specified in the last part, up) 5. Boot firmwares off the memory stick, should you have time machine installed ("Shape Buttons") Time Machine Should you decide to add time machine after and you have DC5 already setup follow these steps: 1. Goto the TM folder and copy the file "config" or "config.txt" (depending on settings) to a safe place, desktop if fine 2. Run Time Machine Eazy Installer. Do not worry about writing of converting the IPL, just install the firmwares. 3. Copy the the file from step1 back to the TM folder.
  16. No.... The only way it to use a Pandora's Battery/Jig. http://bestwikiever.wikidot.com/Jig
  17. 3.80 M33 Ultimate Thread!! Okay, this must be installed from atleast 3.52 M33. 3.52 M33 can only be installed from an existing CFW, which can only be installed from 1.50 or using a Pandora. IF YOU HAVE AN UNMODIFIED PSP WITH OVER 3.50, THEN SOL!!!!! For more details READ STICKIES!!!! Downloading File Download from Mirror CRC:78874AED Preparing Files Unzip the archive. WinXP, Vista and most Linux (Including (K, G,X)Ubuntu have built in ZIP support. For Win98 and older use 7-Zip File Manager. Take the 3.80 M33 Eazy Installer - MPG187 folder and put it on let's say the desktop. Upgrading to 3.80 M33 From the folder we copied extract the "1 3.80 M33" folder and make your Memory Stick's Root Folder match it. So there should be PSP/GAME/UPDATE and the files in that folder. Exit USB or Take Card out of Card Reader and put back in PSP. In xMB goto memory stick game. Run the update. It will have a black screen with White Writing and then goto the Sony 3.80 M33 updater. From here act like installing OFW. IT WILL STILL INSTALL M33 AND NOT OFFICIAL FIRMWARE!! 1.50 Homebrew As of 3.60 M33 there is no 1.50 kernel. The reason is at the current time it cannot be ran on Slim PSPs. So phat PSP users have to install it seperate. Slim users upgrade Homebrew to the new kernel (makes use of Slim's extra memory!) or use Noobz team eLoader which is a program that runs under the new kernel (including slim) which attempt to run 1.50 in user mode which runs most homebrew (things that emulate UMD/ISO dont work). If you own a slim or dont intend to use 1.5 homebrew skip this section. Other wise: Make the "2 1.50 Kernel" folder reflect the root just like in the previous step. Once again from the xMB run the file. This will remove Korean Font and Location free player (Oh no the most commonly used features, no thing that increases homebrew compatibility is worth that!) to free space so it can add the 1.5 kernel. Upgrade to 3.80 M33-4 At the time I am making this the latest version is 3.80 M33-4 (3.80 M33-2 and 3 were made but I wasnt around, they are skipped, if you need them goto dark-alex.org). Once again make the folder to the root, this time use the "3 M33-4 Update" folder. In that folder is PSP/GAME/UPDATE so we have to delete the UPDATE folder from the first section/3.80 M33 upgrade. Save Time Since the 3.80 M33 upgrade and M33-4 upgrade use PSP/GAME/UPDATE once has to use the first one, delete the folder and put the M33-4 files in, you can put on the 3.80 M33-4 update and the 1.50 kernel on the MS while on USB and then run them both, come back and then apply the M33-4 files and upgrade then. 3.90 M33 3.90 M33 3.90 M33 3.90 M33 Wikipedia Sucks Link CRC: 812ba69d Follow the same directions as 3.80 M33 except use "1 3.90 M33 Update" instead of "1 3.80 M33" and "2 150 Kernel" instead of "2 1.50 Kernel" (I guess I used the decimal that time!...) As of now there are no updates so there is no "3 3.90 M22-x" folder!
  18. Hmm. I found a site where I downloaded that album, Tomica Wright really screwed ujp the label since I couldnt buy the album (no credit card cant do online shopping) I haf to download it...

  19. I duuno if I said this (I am on lots of forums) but I got Dual Monitor now, on New Years Eve I just plugged an external monitor into my laptop and instead of cloning the display I told it to extend the desktop. I used to use my Laptop as a Desktop so I cloned the display and tried it once, but now I have it permanently, I made room on my desk and shit...

  22. They come w/ 3.60 last I checked.. YOu need PB... If it's 3.71 you use Des.Cemetery which I will post on soon!
  23. MPG IS BACK AGAIN!Okay so download the 7-Zip SFX as usual. For Windoze, Linux (or Mac OS) use Wine. DOWNLOAD THIS! There are 2 ways: Eazy Eazy Way (Needs 46 MB Free) Install from Computer (Need 23 MB free) EAZY EAZY WAY: Download the file as instructed above and put in under PSP/GAME, so on ur MS you should have a folder called PSP and in PSP have a folder called GAME and in game have it. Run the file (Double Click). It will say something like "F:\PSP\Game" there, hitEXTRACT Now in the xMB goto Game --> Memory Stick --> PSP Update Version 3.71 It will say something about starting SCE at which point it will look just like a normal CE Firmware update (but trust me and DaX, it's not!). It will say to Press X at the end to restart, DO IT! DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP, ACCORDING TO DaX if you shut down the normal way it will brick! Install From Computer: Download the file as instructed above to any folder. Run the file (Double Click). It will say the path of the folder where you are. Find out the Drive Letter of your PSP and put "F:\PSP\Game" where F is the letter (You can contact me for help), hit EXTRACT Now in the xMB goto Game -->Memory Stick --> PSP Update Version 3.71 It will say something about starting SCE at which point it will look just like a normal CE Firmware update (but trust me and DaX, it's not!). It will say to Press X at the end to restart, DO IT! DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP, ACCORDING TO DaX if you shut down the normal way it will brick! Old Homebrew: Within a few days there will be a 1.50 kernel add on for fat PSP to run most, Old Homebrew if you want to then try an older version: 3.52 M33 3.40 OE 3.71 M33 Update 2 (a/k/a 3.71 M33-2) This works only if you have 3.71 M33, which needs atleast 3.52 M33-2 Download Link Download the RAR file, extract the UPDATE folder (recommend use of 7-Zip File Manager). Copy it to PSP/GAME so you should have PSP/GAME/UPDATE/EBOOT.PBP Goto Game --> Memory Stick from the xMB to run the update. 3.71 M33 Update 3 (a/k/a 3.71 M33-3) This works only if you have 3.71 M33, which needs atleast 3.52 M33-2 Download Link Download the RAR file, extract the UPDATE folder (recommend use of 7-Zip File Manager). Copy it to PSP/GAME so you should have PSP/GAME/UPDATE/EBOOT.PBP Goto Game --> Memory Stick from the xMB to run the update. PLEASE NOTE: I have coped the BB Code from my other site. Only users who have 3.52 M33 (FAT PSP)/3.60 M33 (SLIM PSP)can goto this, and to goto 3.52 M33 you can only go from another M33 or OE, to get 3.60 M33 you need Pandora's Battery.
