  1. I would have agreed with you until Man U lost 2-1 to wolves -.- I was seriously unimpressed...
  2. Somewhere called 'outside'... I think that's what they call it...
  3. Just Cause 2. This game is freaking awesome, I love the alternative methods of transport such as the parachute and grappling hook combo. And then there is the ludicrous weapons for example when you invade a military base and you can detach the mounted guns which, when detached, have unlimited ammo and destroy EVERYTHING.
  4. Essentially the same thing happened to me, not surprising seeing as me and Llama spent quite a lot of time together growing up lol. After my GCSE's which were average I suppose, I took the 'expected route' and stayed on at my school to go through sixth form. I pretty much coasted my way through my GCSE's and didn't come out the other side too badly, I took this same mentality into sixth form and when exam time rolled round I was totally f***ed. I bummed out hard on my first year getting 4 E grades and 1 D grade at AS level. After a very sobering interview with one of our heads of sixth form, I decided to re-take my AS year and try to get some decent grades. I very nearly did the exact same thing, it was only when I realised that all of my friends (now in the year above) were getting university offers in and getting really excited about leaving for university that I thought it was about time i pulled my finger out of my arse and got down to some hard work, and it payed off, I came out of my second year of AS with 2 B grades, 2 C grades and 1 E grade (the E being in physics which I still maintain to be f***ing hard). I continued this studious approach to my education through to A2 and managed to come out of A2 with 3 C grades which was enough to secure me my place at my first choice university (university of Kent in Canterbury, England) where I am now studying computer science with a year in industry. Overall I would say that if you know deep down that you are academically capable then go for the academic route, because in the end when you put the effort in you realise just how rewarding it is when you achieve a high grade. But if you know academia is not for you, I wouldn't let yourself be forced into it, I have seen some kids whose parents have forced them into higher education and it has made them really depressed because they just can't cope with the demands of higher education.
  5. I haven't played GTA:III in quite a while, but it might be possible to repair your ambulance in a pay n' spray, try that?
  6. Thanks Chris and Slyde @ Gerard: :'(
  7. i have returned...

  8. I do apologise for my recent and prolonged inactivity on the forums, I guess i got really busy and caught up in my sixth form life, I remembered about the forums when I was talking to Llama the other week and he told me what was currently going on on here and I must admit I have missed posting here... I hope that we can get TGTAP back to how it was.
  9. Being a speed freak I would say that the NRG is my favourite although in contrast I do love just riding around on the Faggio on a nice slow cruise.
  10. What really ticks me off, is when people steal my care package.
  11. Yeah I am with Sherman on this one, sounds as though you will need at least a RAM upgrade to run San Andreas, also it would be helpful if you could post some CPU specs...
  12. GTAIII - PC GTA:VC - PC GTA:SA - PC GTA:IV - PC GTA: Episode From Liberty - coming soon - PC
  13. Exactly, I mean they nerferd the only gun that should be high powered (Barrett .50 cal) and then buffed all the shottys =/
  14. Yeah the M21 sounds amazing, I got 10 kill streak with an M21 build: M21 G18 Claymore/Flashbangs scavenger pro stopping power pro ninja did a very n00bish rook camp on Karachi and sent out an attack helicopter and then a pavelow with my killstreak rewards and then just picked a load off with the EBR. ended the round on a 22:3 k:d ration =] I find the shotguns in MW2 have insane range, or is that just me?
  15. happy birthday Noru

  16. thinks that after having re sat the same exam 3 times i would have got at least a B this time round, but no, an E instead...

  17. good choice raybob, Dirt2 is awesome, one of my favourite racing games
  18. Seriously Ivan is right, Heavy Rain is truly amazing, the game has 20 different endings which could change at almost any time, I love the game so much. It is one of the first PS3 games that fully makes use of all of the PS3's functions, for example you use, regularly, all of the buttons, both analogue sticks and the SIXAXIS feature of the controller.
  19. Hmmmm fair enough, personally I don't get on with burst fire weapons, if I want my gun to burst fire I will release the LMB, but I suppose it's down to personal choice... About the EBR, yeah I have found that it's very brutal, however I have a bolt action rifle fetish, I am not sure why I just prefer them to semi-auto rifles...
  20. True, Ivan, however I would prefer a peripheral with a bland name that works well as opposed to a peripheral with an interesting name that doesn't work as well.
  21. So the new Formula 1 season is upon us as the 2010 season starts this coming weekend. Who do you lot think will do well this year, you got any favourite drivers/teams? Personally, my favourite driver is Jenson Button and I have been a fan of McLaren for about 10 years now. I really hope that Button manages to retain the title this year as i think he really deserves it.
  22. I am running a GTX260 and that will max IV as long as you have a decent CPU and enough RAM. Personally I love my 260 I think it's amazing all my games run smoothly at a decent FPS and look very sexy
  23. So I got my January exam result back today for computing and got an E =[ not too happy with that seeing as I thought the exam went a lot better than that...
