I know the forum is going under upgrade and the rep system will be changed and I also know it's not a major thing but I can't see anyone's rep dots. I can't see mine's, Chris's, Sherman's... is the current skin also going under changes?

It says it all. Worse, better vaules, you can get a threshold of that, if something's wrong, one of the vaules will turn yellow or red.

So you're a modeller and you want to have your own .img file instead of searching in that confusion of gta3.img? Then this is for you.
Start downloading An IMG editor like Spark or IMG Tool. Fire the editor you chose up and click File, New and set the location to
C:\Program Files(or wherever you have SA installed)\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas(or whatever folder you have it in)\models
Put your files inside and rebuild it or Save it with Spark IMG just like you do with cars on this tutorial. Good, now for the editing part. Navigate to your GTA San Andreas folder, open the data folder and open gta.dat with Wordpad, Notepad++ or any other editor you have but NOT MS Word!!!!
Where it says
IMG DATA\PATHS\CARREC.IMG IMG DATA\SCRIPT\SCRIPT.IMG IMG MODELS\CUTSCENE.IMG
Add your IMG file below by:
IMG MODELS\(yourimgname).img
This it it. Now when you're putting it with Map Editor or manually, just insert coordinates and model name and texture name and the game will automatically get the files from the .img!

Almost NO laptop can run GTAIV and those who can, are fucking expensive and rare. I'd say stick with SA, all of these will run it.

WHAT?! It's the best board I've ever had! All others died and this one is more overclock, etc friendly. I don't think ASUS sucks, my GFX card is also re-sold by ASUS (nVidia GeForce 8500GT 512MB edition, OC'd by myself, Runs IV well on Win7).

Should be on the Documents folder. Does the savegame save correctly? If yes, there's gotta be a directory which, I suspect is in Documents or Files or w/e is it on Mac OS.

There's no such thing as SP3 for Windows XP x64. If the game needed XP SP3 to run, it'd tell you:
RMN40 - Windows XP: Need to have Service Pack 3 or higher to proceed.If he didn't had Windows XP 64 with SP2, it'd tell you:
RMN30 - Windows XP 64 / Server 2003: Need to have Service Pack 2 or higher to proceed.About your problem, try updating your graphics card drivers. Wow, did you Model that? Seems a little weird, also LOD creation is screwed so look out, that may crash the game in a second.

Are you sure you didn't rename it? For example from .jpg to .png so the size is tinier?
