The PS3 came out in 2006, it's now 2009.
Seeing as the PS1, 2, and 3 each came out about 6 years apart, we're probably about half way to the date when the PS4 will be released.
The PS4 is likely already under development.

My friend, the PS3 is going to be here for a LONG TIME. It's only been about 2 years in total since it came out, why in words would they start developing a new console, if you ask me, if they were developing it now, it wouldn't have all these improvements, and it won't have better graphics than the PS3, hell no. And if you believe PS4 is in development, prove it, from a trusted source. I don't think so.

Oh don't take shit so seriously I was asking a question. Don't play in the server if you don't like it, and please, stay out of this section if you're going to continuing arguing. No one else agrees that MTA sucks.
I'm not saying it sucks, I'm simply trying to convince you, that SA-MP is more fit for DM than MTA. This isn't arguing. I present my arguments to you, and you respond, so it goes back and forth. This isn't arguing, but a "discussion".

What do you mean better for DM, like just screwing around? I suppose in a sense it is, yes.
Don't put words in my mouth. DM = Deathmatching, which means you shoot an opponent, and you don't mess around. I think your way of argumenting is immature. The gang wars aren't going to be much more than DMing, that's why I prefer SA-MP.

Yes. What is bad about everything being server side? When an admin spawns a car it doesn't leave its exact coordinates to any player on the screen until server restart. Yes, there is one problem, it's a bit of a hog, but the features are endless. SA-MP is just simple, yes, it has capabilities, but MTA has much, much more if you look into it.
I agree with you, it has so many possibilities. But when it comes down to DMing, SA-MP is the best, to be honest. If we're speaking about syncronization with the players, then MTA is the best.
btw, why should alt-tab prevent people from cheating?
Noru, you used the M4 because it kills better than deagle. I could pwn you any time you didn't spend a minute aiming just at my head, so you could 1-shot kill me, while the deagle takes 3 shots in the head.

Right, my ping should affect that I lose health, while not being shot. Dude, too much shit is server-side, that's why I don't like it. There's so much delay on everything. I like the syncronization of cars, though.

I guess MTA is a mod, maybe that's what's crashing it
SA-MP works for me with mods AND cheats :/ . +1 for stability to sa-mp
Re-installed MTA, now it works. +1 for working -1 for not being able to alt-tab
Played on the server - I'm disappointed. I was really hoping to see something good, but all you get is a map that doesn't want to let you spawn properly, then when you try to kill somebody, their HP flashes back and forth while going down, 1 second after hitting them. The Desert Eagle takes 3 shots to the head, while the M4 takes someone down in less than a second. I really think the DM part of it could be made better. I also see people running to one side, and then teleport back to where they originally were. I see cars go from complete still, to floating all over the place, smashing me into the air. Then you get people that spawnkill you, because you can't spawn ANYWHERE else on the map, than where you got killed. This is too buggy for me, sorry. Last rant is that even when they're not shooting, you're still losing HP because of the huge annoying delay.
I'm sticking with SA-MP, MTA is just too unsynced. At least it has it's "powerful blue core" which I'll miss ALOT.
Good things:
Very good job with their GUI, even though it would be nice to run from the fucking spawnkillers, while you're trying to get a weapon
Much more stuff is server-side

I'm sorry, I haven't been able to try it, since it crashes when I try to enter a server.
EDIT: Oh snap, I got it to load half the game. Then it crashed.

Well, I haven't had a virus in a long time, but I recently had a nasty one.
It started out with trying to download about 20-30 .exe's, that my anti-virus blocked all but four of. One seemed to be a Blaster worm(Shutdown in 60 seconds screen, which I managed to stop). Then it slowed down my computer ALOT, wouldn't even let me start firefox, and froze my explorer.exe .
Luckily I got rid of it.

Hello everyone, just a quick question about dealing with car mods which include kits etc (basically tunable at wheel archangels)
I'd like to apologise first of all if this question has been posted before, but after about a good hour of searching through the forums finding nothing, i had no other choice than to post the question myself.
So what happened was I tried to replace my sultan with a lancer evolution ix which comes with i believe 2 sets of bodykits and a few paintjobs. I have done every single step required from the readme file and made sure everything was correct, then repeated the process 3 or so times including a fresh uninstall-reinstall to try to get it work, but the problem wouldnt go away.
The problem is my evo ix 'sultan' now is unable to enter wheel archangels, but can enter in transfender. This basically means i cant get any of the bodykits etc, obviously because transfender dont provide them ingame, and i can only get the custom paintjobs from there.
Now the car itself shows up nice and sweet, so i dont think there is any problem with my replacing txd and dff files from gta3.img
I've tried replacing about 4 different cars using 4 different (tunable) car mods. Only one works perfectly without trouble, meaning the car was actually able to be tuned normally at wheel archangels. All other 3 had the same problem as what i've described above.

I also strongly believe that the copy of the game i have is version 1.0, simply because i was able to play SAMP before started going to the modding industry.

I would've helped you out too, if I had version two. And to Angry Gorilla: Stop being such a wuss. I doubt you know anything about cracks for these games. There are at least 100 cracks for San Andreas, and the main.scm is NOT going to help anyone make a no-CD crack. Main.SCM is only a container of information, not something that checks if the CD is in the tray.
