Upgrading my computer will be cheaper than buying an Xbox/PS3. Rockstar didn't fuck up, they did what they've always done - PC version always comes later than the console version.
and for god's sakes, put spaces after your periods.

I am happy Obama won. I don't think McCain is a bad man but I don't think he would do a good job, really. Ron Paul was the best out of all of them, but he would never win - he wasn't even put on the ballot, he was a write-in.

Hey guys, recently some new information came flooding in which, once again, has put possible flaw into my choice of purchase, thanks to Dell.
Apparently many Dell computers have a PSU that, somewhere, has some voltages reversed in there somewhere to make their PSUs proprietary, therefore it (one not proprietary to Dell) might not work in powering my computer. I've found alternatives for some voltage-switching PSUs which are suitable for Dell computers ( http://www.pcpower.com/power-supply/silencer-470-atx.html ). I don't know much about my PSU (everest doesn't seem to talk about it), but I know it's a Dell Power Supply for a Dimension E521, 305W PSU, model number N305n-03; I don't know how to find out about it either. Dell's site is slow as hell and unorganized beyond belief, I cant find shit there.
Any insightful knowledge guys?

I don't see any requirements for a DVD drive, does the game require that? D: I don't have one. My drive runs CDs for like COD4 and TF2, so should I be fine with GTA4?

Hello. I'd like to state a problem on the forums I've gotten just recently (like last night and this morning).
I get this when viewing some topics, and I think it may be the .gif advertisements at the top and bottom of the page, but I am not sure. This problem causes firefox to freeze for a few moments, and then when the error finally comes up, it doesn't matter if I click yes or no, FX crashes everytime.
I was viewing the "Will my PC handle GTA 4" topic at the time of that photo.

-This glitch happens whenever I scroll over any of the advertisements that appear at the bottom of the website, I have just found out (It never fails). The top ones don't seem to cause problems.

Youtube really butchers the quality of GTA IV in a lot of cases. I've seen the game on a PS3 with a 42" 1080i television and it looks amazing. Expect the PC version to have high-quality textures and even better graphics than the consoles.

what I mean is that I could play Assassin's Creed with all graphics at minimum, and get more than 15 fps.
But when I set the shaders and the shadows ON, and the other graphic levels at high, the view was very realistic, but only 6 or 8 frames per second.
Same thing with crysis.
And Crysis is not any special game. The graphics make it beautiful.
Without graphics at High Level it's not worthy playing it,
I wasn't saying your english is bad, I was just a little stunned that you said that games aren't worth playing without full graphics

Does SA still run with 15 FPS? Seems like it should run better with an 8600.
