I hated the Flame Thrower in VC because if you were fighting anyone you'd have to get right up close to them and they all died with a simple quick burst.

But seriously I like the freeway as a bike just because it is totally in capable of turning at it's top speed.
For my favourite vehicle it would probably be the rhino just because it's indestructible in GtaVC (unless it's flipped over, of course). So much pure chaotic mayhem

Because he knows a lot of special moves from the gyms and he's been trained even though he's from the ghetto. And he can swim so if someone punched him down to the water he could swim back while if Tommy, Claude or Toni would have been thrown they would drown.
FYI; I've known that Tommy killed 11 enemies in 1971, I'm not some idiot as you may think. But I never heard a single mention of killing them with his bare hands.
CJ, Vic and Niko ftw! They are more trained than the other three, who only know how to handle a gun.
I thought they were in a bar not beside the seaside in Blackpool.
I agree with Niko but the others are a no no (or at least to me).
I think Tommy should be in the list at the end instead of CJ or Vic.
CJ just, to me, doesn't seem like he would win compared to Niko or Tommy.
I don't know totally what it is but in my heart Niko and Tommy are just the two guys closest to my heart (and beating the crap out of my liver).
But seriously my top 2 is 1.Niko 2.Tommy. (maybe I just didn't feel the others were so ruthless and fighting spirited....and maybe a little killer in there too).

First off, just because you played some games you didn't like doesn't mean they all suck. Secondly, just because YOU don't like it doesn't make it a bad game. And finally, I'm quite wanting a Wii version. I'd like to see how they pull it off and how it turns out. I'd buy it, and I'd probably enjoy it, too. So long as Leeds stays the hell away from it. <3North.
Quite wanting a Wii version?! It's going to be like to walk stand on the board and move your arms about and look like a complete idiot and after about 5mins of playing your going to be as tired as balls and all the characters will have huge bobble heads an there won't be blood coming out of them it will just be flowers. O.k maybe not to those extremes but never mind. Usually NDS games aren't about gameplay it's about the technology. Sometimes the technology works with the gameplay sometimes it is a huge fail and has tried to over do itself, tripped up and landed in it's own arse. O.k if CW is a success I'll eat my hat and rethink some of my opinions but until then I am staying firmly with what I believe.
Yes, because everytime they release a new attachment EVERY game uses it. That's why we all use dance pads, light guns, and Power Gloves for ALL of our games, right?
And you'd walk with the joystick.... Like any other game with character movement....
I just think a Wii version of GTA would have the gameplay totally watered down by the technology.

Happy now? GTA on the Wii would be tottally possible, sure it wouldn't have the fancy IV graphics but it could really inovate the series.
I think that if you did use a normal controller it would somewhat defeat the purpose of the Wii but you never know. And about the graphics.... Well.... Enough on the Wii anyways. (It's still a Chinatown Wars topic. Believe it or not.)

I had never heard anything about him killing the guys but when I played VC the sound card in my comp was fucked something nasty ad so were the speakers and I'm not one for subtitles (I hate all the chinese movies that aren't dubbed

Maybe they were armed with melee weapons only or had weak pistols - how do we know he killed them with bare hands?
CJ is more ruthless because Niko only kills for money, but CJ sets up work and does anything to get the thing he wants. (example Sweet released from prison.)
Being ruthless is doing something without pity. Basically killing someone with no reason would be ruthless. CJ obviously had a reason and I think his reason is a lot less ruthless than Niko's reason.
I'm pretty sure they mentioned that Tommy did it with his bare hands in the game. Why don't you play it again.
hmmmm... I'm not too keen to 100% VC again. You make a lot of very good points. Even though SA may be my favorite game CJ is my least favorite character. (I can't remember them mentioning it though. Probably went to the loo or something).

Niko would do anything he wanted too and for that matter of fact so would Mr.Vercetti. I think doing what you want to do comes with the fashion of being a main character in GTA

eliminating claude & tommy straight away, they cannot fight 4 they're lives, CJ & Niko on the other hand have a style in fighting, I might say CJ if it was just a pure fight, but if CJ threatened Roman i would say Niko you kick the living Sh*t out of CJ, Niko as we know does not take kindly 2 people, messing with his family
I second that post. But CJ was more ruthless than Niko IMO.
The 11 idiots Tommy killed were all a bunch of fools who would have been killed easier than that, Massimo Torini from LCS killed people with his bare hands (as we heard from McAffrey.)
I've never ever played LCS so I can't comment on that but I wouldn't say the people Mr.Vercetti killed were idiots (though your probably right to some extent).

I don't really understand why people are over looking Tommy's background. Unless they don't know about it.
I think quite a few people think that if the games fighting wasn't as good as it was in later games then their fighting wouldn't be good. But since he killed 11 people with his bare hands he can't be that bad

As for Tommy and Claude...well, they'd defiantly lose. They can't even block punches.

Niko maybe would get hurt a little more, because he's in a more realistic game. Tommy, CJ, Claude, Victor, and Toni would lose big time.

OFF TOPIC: Does this mean the PS2 will get one last GTA? (Like LCS/VCS?)
I would hope they did just to make use of my practically 7 year old PS2 which brought me through very good times. But maybe if CW is a success they will more like it and move away from the PS2's final hour of glory.

Yeah, the DS can hold what...1GB? The GBA is only half a powerful or even less and Driv3r 3D was out on GBA, hopefully GTA will look better though.well it might be cuz the ds graphics are pretty goodI thought NDS games only used about 100mb....or less

I would like the view to be first person (for a change) or have a 2D/3D thing going on so they can put enough decent stuff in. Proper voice acting would be great too.

I'm pretty sure it's going to be quite a surprise if i find it any good. 3D could be the step to get away from Gta Advance. You never know but my opinion is it's going to be pants (though no one ever listens to my opinion)

If the Vercetti Gang actually used those Uzi's and if the Cubans got some Krugers and Uzi's, Tommy's army could kick ass.
Tommy could kick ass.... but only if he had an army behind him. Tommy sucks. Why can't CJ bring in grove street? Why can't Niko bring the Serbian army? Because then Tommy would lose. If it was a straight out bar fight, no armies or crap like that, Tommy would lose.... Horribly.
