Well, its that time of year again! Exams have started, and we're all going to brick it for the next couple of months whilst waiting for the results . Here is my exam timetable AS Level History Paper 1 - 26th May Sociology Paper 1 - 27th May Law Paper 1 - 28th May Sociology Paper 2 - 8th June Law Paper 2 - 10th June History Paper 2 - 10th June Tomorrows my first exam, shitting it. Been revising for it all day today. I'm aiming for a B or potentially higher in all subjects as I want to go a fairly decent uni. If anybody else does any of these subjects, tips would be much appreciated

In my opinion, some of there policies seem fair, like removing us from Afghanistan, which is what everyone in Britain wants by the sounds of it. On the other hand, they are the biggest bigoted racists in the country, and they still deny it. How Nick Griffin could compare himself to the greatest leader Britain has ever had (Winston Churchill) is unbelieveable really. My views are the same with UKIP. After attending a college Question Time session with some of the local candidates (one of which was from UKIP) they seem just as racist as the BNP! But of course, we are in a deep recession. As history has previously seen, the public of countries seem to turn to the radical parties when the country is on a downer. Take Germany for example, ever since the Treaty of Versailles the number of seats the NSDAP (Nazi Party) had in the Reichstag increased, low a behold, Germany was in the biggest debt it had probably ever seen. I hope Britain does not turn out the same, and the public keep voting for the parties who can actually do some good for this country..(Conservative, Lib Dems, Labour).

Cheers too all the longserving staff who have retired... I raise a glass of something too you! No more gangs is a bit of a downer from a personal opinion as I really enjoyed being part of the gangs, especially the FFM. But I suppose all good things come to an end! Hopefully the forum will pick up activity soon (probably when rockstar get off their asses and announce a new GTA ) I'm sure all the regulars will stay around, and hopefully we will be joined by new members! So yeah, went to the interview, really informal. Didn't even ask me any questions. I went in, the boss man looked at my GCSE's, told me they were really good, and then asked me when I wanted to start. I said as soon as you want me too, so he then said I have an Orientation on Monday, which is like an induction thing, health and safety, form filling etc, and then I start on Saturday. I know its a pretty crappy job, but its a job of which I can get paid. It's £4.35 an hour for a 17 year old, which I am. This isn't too bad I suppose. I just need the money as I don't get EMA or anything . Also thanks for all the advice, the experience will be very handy coming into any future careers.

Yeah, I know it isn't very classy or anything, so take the piss out of me now rather than later. I have an On Job Evaluation and Interview there tomorrow for a part time job, and was wondering if anyone who was worked there, past or present could give me a few tips? Cheers

The Tories. I like the stuff Cameron is saying about "fixing our broken society". He is indeed very true about this. I think we need to get rid of this new benefit culture under the Labour Government. Why should a hard working tax payer have to pay for lazy people to slouch around on their arse all day? Fair enough, people cannot get jobs because of the current economic climate, but I know people who have been on benefits for years, and haven't even tried looking for a job. What do you all think about the National Citizen Service that Cameron is planning? Where school leavers do community work like helping elderly people. He stated today it will initially be voluntary, but could become compulsory if the Tories get into power. I think David Cameron is spot on with his broken society theory, and his desire to help young people out of the gang culture. It's just a matter of can he walk the walk as well as talk the talk? Obviously, the dimwits who stay on benefits all their lives will vote for Labour, as Cameron plans on reducing benefits. So if they are intelligent enough to vote, Labour could just squeeze it, which will be a miracle, but not impossible. The BNP will never get into power in the slightest. Ever, as long as there is a hole in my arse. If the BNP get into power, I will personally walk down to Parliament and start a riot. UKIP, I see as a milder version of the BNP. Do we want the European Laws to over rule our own? Do we still want to pay billions into the EU every year? Although I am not old enough to vote, I will still be keeping a keen eye on the Election campaigns as it is a personal interest. It sure will be interesting too see if anything changes if there were to be a new Government, and we can finally get out of the recession. If I could vote, I would be voting Conservative.

I tend to be a bit of a lefty in my views. Not as far left as communism, but I do believe that the Government should interfere when things are going wrong in the country, like at the moment with the recession, it would be good to help the homeless (who have been victims of the recession, not the drug addicts). I also believe that more power should be given to police to arrest people because I feel in today's society there is a lot more crime than there used to be. I also think immigration should be limited. I'm not being racist or anything, I just believe that we have too many immigrants in the country, some of which live on the benefits that the tax payer pays for. Which is why I also take the New Right view in that benefits should be reduced and people should be made to work for their money. It is unfair if someone can sit on their arse for years and not work but still get more money than someone who works really hard. Freedom to do whatever you want your home sounds good, but in practise, I do not think it will work, because this could lead to things like child abuse and domestic violence. I wish we could have a party which has a mixture of left wing and right wing ideas, because both sides of the political spectrum have some very good ideas, but they have their flaws.

Sweet, I was just wondering. because with things I have seen on the internet, microsoft are infamous for being notoriously slow with their xbox 360 repairs, with people waiting for months to receive their 360 back. Whereas mine was dropped off on Friday and its been repaired by Wednesday seems quite unusual .

Right, so I dropped my dead xbox off to UPS on friday. It arrived in Germany 17 hours ago, yesterday evening. I have just checked the xbox tracking site thing, and it says my xbox has been repaired and shipped back to me... Is it normal for an xbox with the RROD to be repaired that quickly???

All sorted out now guys! I took it to the bloke who sold it and he is a massive laptop wizard, he installed another version of XP on to it and even made it look like Vista ha. Thanks for all the help guys!

Hey guys, right what has happened is that my new laptop (second hand) has a version of windows xp pre installed into it. I got it yesterday, and windows updates installed me a shit load of updates etc. Then I logon later, and see a pop up which tells me that this version of windows is not genuine, and must be activated within a day. Being a stupid tit, I left it till I got back from college the next day, as it was fairly late. It now says that windows has expired, and I cannot log on to anything but the internet. Which is very annoying. Now, I have found a microsoft sticker on the back of this laptop with a product key on it. I entered this in the activation wizard, and it says it is incorrect. I have tried the activation by phone thing, but that is useless. Can anyone be any help? I reckon Gerard will have a thing to say about this . This is very annoying as I want to be able to run programes and listen to music on this laptop.
