  1. I don't think it'll do much good trying to get thisisausername. But still, you can try, can't ya? I give you this advice: Stop wasting your time trying to keep the people who caused this forum to close down in the first place, and go out advertising for the place!

  2. Surely if there's no shop then we wont be able to have decent gang wars though

Well, if you were here before, you could have read the topic for the first gang war, and you would know we didn't have decent gang wars anyway.

Also, CC was right Chris. The shop mod did cause spam, but the reason it couldn't be controlled is that you refused to be strict about the rules.

  3. Morph, I would honestly have to say that jobs in the Bosses are reserved for my most trusted friends. Not saying your not a friend, but you have to be seriously devoted to get one of those jobs. CC was in the old gang, so I invited him to be my RHM. However, I would let you be my head of Law as my Advisor.

  4. Well, the shop also had other bad sides. People would sell things they weren't supposed to, etc. etc., for money. Here are the pros and cons:

    Pros:

    -Really cool

-Way to make the forums more fun

    Cons:

    -Spam

-Black Market (selling things illegally, spam shops)

-Reason to hack and give youself money

    Story:

    Part 1

Antonio Soprano is probably the most brutal thug in the history of the city of Palermo in Sicily. He is famed for the 128 murders he commited in the 1920's, along with the hundreds of thousands of dollars he made causing strife among the city's various crime families. When one of the families decided it was payback time, Antonio was forced to flee.

New York City, New York is where Antonio Soprano found himself after 3 months on an overused, overcrowded cargo ship in the Altantic. Immediately, Antonio (who now went by the name of Tony) saw that America really was the Land of Opportunity. He used the money he had saved up from his time in Palermo to buy a grocery store called The Green Silician. He used the place as a front to sell liquor (those being the days of Prohibition), and soon his operation grew to a size where he brought in several local gangsters and formed his own gang. The Sopranos were born on May 28th, 1929.

At first, Tony's men were armed with little more then baseball bats and a few small revolvers. As the operation expanded to loansharking and gambling, the gang had more money for more weapons and more men. Soon, the Sopranos had double-barrel shotguns, Thompsons, and even the occasional rifle. The grocery store's back lot was turned into a training ground, and gunshots were often heard from it every night. After the people who lived nearby moved out in order to get some sleep at night, Tony bought up the now vacant apartments and moved his own men into them. Soon, the entire block became his domain, and Tony ran it with an iron fist.

When the police began to crack down on organized crime following the Capone conviction, Tony packed up his bags and moved to Newark, New Jersey, where he owned three gambling halls and an extensive liquor operation. He set up shop with his old gang, and soon brought in the cities biggest earners as his soldiers. It was estimated that in 1935, while the country was in the grips of the Depression, Antonio Soprano was worth 2.3 million dollars.

    Part 2

The year was 2004, and Biggie Salgatto was in the middle of smashing in the head of an informant with a brick. With him were his head enforcer Smallpackage and Head Butcher Cam, who ran the slaughter house they were standing in now.

68 years had passed since the Sopranos had moved to New Jersey, and now the Garden State was completely their territory. The informant who was being beaten to death was named Frankie "The Daggar" Mariano, Biggie's former advisor. Salgatto had taken over the Family in 1996 following the death of the last Soprano, Augusto, in March of that year. Frankie, after being thrown out of the Family, had decided to turn to the FBI. Two weeks later, his body was found in the waters of Atlantic City.

In the past 8 years, Biggie "The Vice" had not only kept the Soprano empire intact, but had expanded it to a point where even parts of New York City were his control. With a casino under construction in Atlantic City and $28,000,000 to the Family name, he had become the largest Mafia chieftain in the country. All that was threatened, however, when the Mee Song clan moved in to Jersey from Hong Kong in 2000.

The war between the Sopranos and the Mee Song was the bloodiet in Jersey history. In two years, three hundred people had died, and the both sides had spent a combined $6,000,000 on weapons and other costs. Finally, in 2002, the Mee Song were forced to return to Hong Kong after their leader, Chow Mee Song, was killed by a sniper named Crac (who would later become the Family second-in-command). The Sopranos had lost 138 men. but they soon recovered and went on to regain their place as the most powerful gang in America. Today, the Sopranos are believed to be worth $45,000,000, with three casinos in Atlantic City and an extensive narcotics trade.
