  1. I've just mailed you the vehicles.ide, carcols.dat and handling.cfg files. I don't know how to send you the gta3.img file as its around 896 MB. If you have any suggestions please let me know. Also did the game work without any of the car mods?
  2. ^ A little C4 should do the trick then! < More boredereded than anyone else! V Someone New!
  3. ^ Should introduce the school's main server to some petrol and get them to meet a matchstick! < Really doesn't know what "Don't Scat!" means and didn't mean to insult Spaz The Great! V Please explain what "Don't Scat" and "Bumnp" mean!
  4. Before you install the car mods, try uninstalling all other mods. Some of them are really unnecessary; E.g: Use a tr**ner or cheat for Max Money instead of using a mod for free shopping. Also try removing the real speed mod. Basically what I'm saying is do a clean install and see if the game runs without any mods. Then try to run it with just one vehicle mod. If it works carry on modding and checking till you're done with the vehicles. After that install the other mods like shopping or speed or draw distance.
  5. Those are pretty awesome specs dude. You should be able to run SA like crazy. Have you installed any script mods or anything. Oh wait, you said you did a clean install. Try running the game after a clean re-install without installing any mods and see if that works. Also, are we talking about only vehicle mods or about buildings, or effects or other mods as well?
  6. Slayer, I think he said that he already tried that. There is no surefire way that you can save more cars than the amount specified by the game. Sure you can get them into the garage, but sooner or later they are going to disappear.
  7. Hmm... have you tried any from here at thegtaplace.com's own download database? See if they work. And you don;t have to uninstall the whole game, just uninstalling the mod will do. Also post your system specs on here.
  8. ^ Don't know what he's talking about! < Just resurrected an ancient topic! v Is probably as bored as me for posting here!
  9. It's probably one of your mods that's causing the game to crash. Try to isolate which mods work and which don't by installing them one by one and loading the game after each one is installed. S.A.M.I is recommended for this as it allows for easy uninstallation.
  10. A nice shot of our good friend through the years: The Cheetah. New Word: Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis
  11. Thats what I thought as well but I don't remember seeing a gun that displays ammo in F.E.A.R. I'm going to go with Quake 4.
  12. New Word: Supercalifragilisticespialidocious P.S: Remember the movie?
  13. Tommy Vercetti and Mike Toreno. Tommy because he really is a big badass and Mike Toreno because I think he represents the inner conspirator in all of us.
  14. G-Unleashed has the best vehicle locatioon help. Check out their list.
  15. Here's one that should get you thinking, Find a road(dirt track, row of planks, anything that looks like it's meant to be driven on) that starts off normally, dips under the sea for a bit and then resurfaces. It's kind of like an underwater road at the dip. If there are three requests for clues then I will drop a hint. Have fun searching! Edit: Hasn't anyone found anything yet? I'm going to help you guys out and drop a hint: The general area is in the Northern Half of the map.
  16. If it's not that then it's gotta be this one. If you follow Gant Bridge away from San Fierro, this rock formation is on your left just as you approach Bayside.
  17. Nice one. Also don't forget to always use "protection" while drinking coffee. You don't want to end up with CTDs (Caffeine Transmitted Diseases).
  18. Such intelligence. Pure Genius. Einstein would be proud! lol Okay. I didn't know how to describe this place so I took a screenshot. Its in the desert not far from the airplane graveyard. Its gotta be the tallest natural drop! PICTURE
  19. The ramp off the top of Mt. Chilliad? Or does that not count as a sheer drop? If not, then its the building in Los Santos with a Star shaped helipad on it.
  20. The frame limiter option was on. I turned it off and now the problem is slightly better. When I look at a building it takes the game around two seconds to render it. Here are my system specs: Windows XP Home SP2 Pentium 4 CPU 3.40 GHz 1 GB RAM ATI Radeon X800GT 256MB Catalyst v6.4 I'm running the GTA SA game on display settings: Resolution - 1280 x 1024 BitDepth - 32 FX - Very High Anti-Aliasing - 3 Widescreen - No Draw Distance - Max Mip Mapping - On Frame Limiter - Off
  21. Hi! I had the same problem but soon figured out what the problem was. It's probably one of your mods acting up. How many mods are you trying to install and how are you installing them? If you're editing txd files manually then its possible that you messed up somewhere, and if you didn't make backups you'll have to re-install. If you're using S.A.M.I then its probably the mod. To elimnate the mod thats causing the problem install the mods one by one and start the game after each one is installed. I think I had this problem with just one mod - a Yamaha bike to replace the PCJ 600, Hope this helps. Edit: BTW, this topic belongs in the SA Mod forums (I think!). If yes, then Admin or Moderator, please do the honours.
  22. erm.... I was talking about the arrow keys on the keyboard! Dude, How old are you???
  23. You've got to use the Up and Down Arrow keys. Use these keys to maintain the rhythm and your excitement bar should increase along with the speed. Keep up with the pace and you'll get your just reward. P.S: How the &^R*&^% can you not figure out something like this?
  24. I for one would love to go back to Vice City. Except they should make the timeline after San Andreas and LCS. E.g: Ken Rosenberg flees Leone in SA and goes back to VC, Donald Love should have taken over Avery's business and I would love to see Mercedes and Col. Cortez again. Just my $0.20
