I just reworded the sentence after some more thought. I think we can definitely rule out Tommy since the guy does NOT look 60 years old, as Tommy would be now, so can't be him. It Could still be TC though, but I'm not convinced that's him in the screenshot. The narration over the trailer does SOUND a bit like Ray Liotta though (voice of Tony Cipriani).
Ray Liotta was Tommy Vercetti..... Tony was voiced by Danny Mastrogiorgio. Unless you mean in GTA III, in which it was Michael Madsen.
Yup I was just about to mention that too. After listening to the different voices of Toni in GTA III and LCS, I don't think that it is him in the trailer. Plus, wasn't he a little bit chubby looking in GTA III?

I just read your initial post about TC. Very possible, looks quite like him. Also it would make sense that Toni would move to SA 'for the weather' instead of Tommy who lives/lived in beautiful VC
I never got to play LCS though since my PSP had a very short lifespan. Was it worth a play? -
If they do bring back Vercetti in any way, I am SOLD. Most badass GTA character.
As much as I would love that, and thought that the voice KINDA sounded like Ray Liotta, it is pretty unlikely. Considering that the game seems to be set in the modern day (style of cars, hinted recession theme and that building under construction mentioned in the IGN analysis) and Tommy was born in 1951. That would mean he would be +55 years old in this game. And the guy looks old, but not THAT old.
Wikipedia knows no more information than us. It's just normal people editing a wiki. That's just other people's opinion.

Oh yeah didn't notice the dog. Possible two playable characters? The guy at 0:24 driving the red car re-appears again at 1:04 and then there's the old guy (who's most likely narrating) who appears multiple times with the face shot, doing the robbery and driving the black R* version of the R8 (?). I dunno, what do you guys think.

Hmmm... Don't know what to make of that. Especially since the ace of spades is the worst card symbolically.
I think the point was more the fact it's a card, which suggests gambling, which in turn points to Las Venturas as being the location.
It's a nice find anyway, 7 days left to wait until we find out I guess.
Wow, right on. Just when I thought that nothing else could be hinted by the title design of the game. And as stupid as this sounds, as long as we're sticking to the Las Venturas/gambling hints, maybe the trailer release date is a reference to getting 'snake eyes' ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snake_eyes ) when gambling with dice: 11 (1 and 1) 02 (2 pairs of snakes eyes) 11 (1 and 1).
By the way, I've been gone way too long. How do I do post a link with my own selected title as opposed to the full URL. Like if I wanted that Wikipedia link up there to be 'snake eyes' instead of the full URL. I tried searching through the BB Codes and the Link button but couldn't figure it out.

GTA V-v-v-vice City? Haha I'm just kidding but seriously I'm clueless on what to expect besides the 'money' aspect everyone has been mentioning. Maybe it's also a way to address Saints Row:The Third coming out, just to emphasize the fact that Five>Three and people should save their MONEY for the better game

I'm not sure what ethinicity the character will be since for GTA IV, they had a Slavic, Hispanic, a Jewish Caucasian, Oriental protagonists. Maybe back to Italian? My bet is the guy is gonna be living in Vice City and dealing with blow. LOTS of blow.

As for things I hated about the game. All the features and weapons included in the DLC, should have just been included in the original game (apart from the separate story lines, those were pretty cool). But yeah San Andreas was just too good, if they made it almost exactly like it but with improvements it would have been great. I have a little theory that what R* is doing is making GTA IV the equivalent of what GTA III was to VC and SA, meaning that they started it nice and simple (no planes, bicycles, clothing, 2 sets of weapons etc. and the most obvious setting of LC) and as they make the new games they will follow the same pattern the last trilogy did and become progressively more awesome. If this is true then it's a pretty smart marketing ploy but I just don't like taking 2 steps forward and 1 step back and waiting like 4 or 5 years in between my favourite games.
