Redemption isn't actually a sequel to Revolver, it's a spiritual successor.

Season Six; Negan The Walking Deader...
Trevor_Philips replied to BlackListedB's topic in Music, Film, TV & Sports
I think it was Glenn, just as in the comics. On Youtube, someone enhanced the audio of the segment and Maggie, Abraham, Carl, and others can all be heard screaming his name. -
Harmful Phish detected...HERE!
Trevor_Philips replied to BlackListedB's topic in Suggestions / Help / Bug Reporting
For me, it was being reported as a web forgery. But at least you got it sorted. Thanks. Now I can go back to being agonizingly annoyed by Black. -
Leslie Benzies leaves Rockstar Games

I would think that to fall on the actor for taking the job. -
Leslie Benzies leaves Rockstar Games

That certainly makes my outlook on GTA's future grim. I've seen what happens to franchises when someone new takes charge and it isn't always good. -
What exactly happened?
Trevor_Philips replied to SlickVic's topic in Suggestions / Help / Bug Reporting
First off, every word in the dictionary was invented at some point. Our evolutionary ancestors didn't crawl out of the ocean with an English language dictionary clamped between their fins, now did they? And "Xbone" is shorthand for "Xbox One". That should be common knowledge by now because everyone is using it. We can't exactly just call it "One", because then for damn sure no one would know what we're talking about. Also, Nate's right. You got banned from GTAF for one reason or another. Regardless of whether it was justified or not, it happened, is over and done with, and you need to let it go and move on with your life. -
Wow, someone who knows Redemption is Red Dead 2? I thought I was the only one. XD

Grand theft auto san Andreas Myths, Mysteries, Legends
Trevor_Philips replied to Sprint's topic in General GTASA Discussion
But the thing is, the Internet is wrong. The game has been modded up the wall and no traces of any of its alleged hidden creatures have ever been found. This long ago should have been the nail in the coffin (it was for me), but most myth hunters are just so desperate for these things to be real more than anything to the point that they'll disregard obvious proof (like the game being dismantled by modders with no evidence found) and desperately cling to hearsay and false claims such as a Rockstar employee allegedly claiming that there was "something in the woods", which I can find nothing whatsoever to verify. I like the myths, I think they're fun. If hunting for these things brings you enjoyment, more power to you. Do I want Bigfoot to be roaming around Back O Beyond? Do I want there to be a Woods Creature? So much yes. But that doesn't change the fact that there's nothing in the game files to prove it. I've heard "explanations" for this running the gambit from "a Rockstar employee secretly put it in" to "it can only be found in certain versions of the game", but none hold up. I mean, think about it: how quick were the UFOs and fake Bigfoot in GTA V verified in-game and plastered all over the Internet? Seemingly the day after it released. And now here it is a decade after GTA SA's release and all we've seen are a few grainy pictures that no one can prove are real. Why is this? Because there's simply nothing there. -
Paris Under Fire.... Our Prayers go out
Trevor_Philips replied to BlackListedB's topic in Members' Lounge
For once, Black, I agree completely with you. Look, I am truly sorry for the situation these refugees are in at no fault of their own and I'm sure the vast majority of them, regardless of faith, are good people, but like Scott said, we've gotta look after our own right now and as heartless as it might sound, closing our borders to these people should have been the first course of action. But obviously that spineless asshat in the White House has no real intention of actually fighting ISIS. As amazingly hardcore as units like Delta and DEVGRU are, it's going to take more than just a few teams on the ground and an air campaign to accomplish anything. Air power alone has never, and will never, win a war. We left Iraq too soon and now the world is paying the price. My only hope now is that France officially declares war and invokes an Article 5. -

Microsoft added backwards compatibility to Xbone on the 12th. http://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/backward-compatibility -
WWE 2K15 had its share of flaws, but the gameplay itself was vastly improved compared to what was delivered under THQ in over a decade. And frankly, WWE games under them were becoming increasingly bug-riddled as the releases piled up. Hell, Community Creations in WWE 13 just flat out stopped working for me about six months after its release

Let's Get Rid of these Elitist Lawyers
Trevor_Philips replied to MarlenesFutureDad's topic in Members' Lounge
Abolish police officers? That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. There would be anarchy. Seriously, without an enforcing entity, who would listen to any judge? And why are PDFs elitist? I mean, are you joking or are you just stupid? And I mean that as a legitimate question. -
My thoughts are had our dumbass president left 15,000 boots in Iraq, there wouldn't be an ISIS in the first place.

How about they don't try to compete with them? Sort of like how humans don't compete with slugs.

You seriously compare old images posted on a web page to keeping a library or dictionary up-to-date? The absurdities that you type never cease to amaze me. So, then, again explain to me how any of that is relevant to the suggestion of having player modifications to vehicles showing up as standard on all vehicles?

I'm sure I'm not the only one who has favorite songs to run from the cops to. Mine are: GTA III - "Scarface (Push It to the Limit" by Paul Engemann GTA Vice City - "I Ran (So Far Away)" by A Flock of Seagulls and "Too Young to Fall in Love" by Motley Crue GTA Vice City Stories - "Rock You Like a Hurricane" by the Scorpions and "Holy Diver" by Dio GTA San Andreas - "Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns N' Roses and "La Raza" by Kid Frost TLaD - "Wanted Dead or Alive" by Bon Jovi, GTA V - "Scandalous" by Mis-Teeq (last gen) and "Danger Zone" by Kenny Loggins (current gen) I didn't really have any favorite chase songs in Liberty City Stories, GTA IV, or TBoGT.

A Rally Cry Against the Global Elite
Trevor_Philips replied to MarlenesFutureDad's topic in Members' Lounge
In recent years, the United States has actually been importing more crude oil from Canada than anywhere else, around 200 million barrels annually followed second by Saudi Arabia at around 160 million barrels annually. About 60% of the oil products consumed in the US come from foreign sources and, believe me, I dislike that as much as you. But what's the realistic alternative here, go cold turkey and let entire country grind to a literal halt? The entire country would collapse. I'm all in favor of increased funding and research into the development of oil-free renewable energy sources, but it's going to take decades, if not longer, to develop and transition to something sustainable.- 2 replies

Favorite police chase song
Trevor_Philips replied to Trevor_Philips's topic in General GTA Series Chat
I would have thought in-game soundtrack was kind of obvious. -
I'm still waiting for that story mode DLC that was supposed to be announced at the end of 2014. The vehicles and weapons added in all the free updates are great, but I'd like something of a little substance now.

Yeah, no one with a life of any kind is going to trawl through old Internet postings just to repost images that get deleted over time. How does the placing the story in the map affect modding cop cars? I agree that player mods shouldn't become standard on every in-game vehicle (I'd prefer a randomized system like Saints Row 2 had), but the correlation between story and map has little, if anything, to do with modding cars.

After Obama, US Prez; DONALD TRUMP!
Trevor_Philips replied to BlackListedB's topic in Members' Lounge
He also flew a sick child and his parents across the country to a doctor on his own dime when the airlines refused. That is just mere publicity to get him elected as the President of the United States. Once's he elected, Trump will take away the civil rights of the LGBTQ population (including same-sex marriage), bomb Iran with multiple nuclear missiles in a Third World War and make the life of the typical black person a living nightmare with laws that protect the KKK and the skinheads. You and my dad would get along great. He's a conspiracy nut, too. -

While I'd certainly be up for a GTA in a new (not remade) setting, the 100 year timeline is a bit much.

Rockstar should have come right out and admitted Hot Coffee was something they played with instead of trying to deny it.
