You realise the game series is GTA not GTA3, It's GTA (Grand Theft Auto) San Andreas, Not GTA3 San Andreas.

Quite honestly I hope there is no vehicle modification, apart from a pay and spray (or maybe just colour customisation). I think thats one of the (many) things that was wrong with San Andreas.

I understand what you are saying about so far Rockstar has re-used the same cities as bases for the GTA counterparts, but 'ENTIRE new world'? Do you want GTA on a global scale? Because that would be impossible. Or do you want less well known American cities to be used as a base, which will never happen, GTA is a British series, the majority of development takes place in Edinburgh. There would be no point setting a game in a random city because the developers and audience wouldn't understand the reference. 'What we get is MORE Liberty City or Vice City, or San Andreas' is the issue that they re-use the name or the cities they're based upon? Because Liberty City in GTA was completely different to the one in GTA III and both of those are completely different to the one in GTA IV, the same goes for Vice City and San Andreas (which went from a city to a state!). And I don't doubt that there could be a GTA outside the USA, there have been two in the past. But this is a discussion on the location of GTA V, not future games. What I am trying to say is the information you are presenting, is different to what is already known about the GTA V location, and is not relevant to the topic.

Seriously, wtf. Your post didn't make any sense, what are you saying? From what I can make out, you think that this will be the last game to re-use a location? 'This herein lies the crux', 'The question begs then, or remains open'; This is a forum, not a poetry lecture, there is no need to try and sound learned. Especially when it doesnt make any sense. Try and keep the language simple, more people will be able to understand you.

GTA V won't be in LA it will be based on it, probably with some hints of other well known cities. It has already been announced as such, which makes your post not about GTA V but another future GTA. The cities that are chosen as inspiration are cities that are well known internationally, this is because the games are produced by a company in Edinburgh. One of the main features of this game is parody (taking the piss), and that is only possible when the audience has some sort of knowledge of the original. Very few people outside of the States would know anything about Houston (personally I only know that is in Texas, nothing more), which would make it unsuitable for GTA.

None of that stuff actually happens, if anything they're mods. Rockstar has said that there is definitley NO bigfoot, UFO's etc. You could probably find mods that made that stuff happen, but I have only seen a bigfoot one. The only 'Myth' that has any grain of truth are the ghost cars (cars that roll out of the wilderness), but these are programmed in so vehicles can be found if you are stranded in the middle of nowhere.

Great news if it does happen, since if upgraded to a Slim (from a Fat) I havent been able to play them on PS3 . That said, two games I would love as Classics are the Getaway and Black Monday.

That, is pure speculation, and mostlikley bullshit. Firstly the narrator talks about moving with his family, there are no signs of Tommy getting anywhere near to a family stiuation, the voice actor is not Ray Liotta (the Voice of Tommy), the older gent with the grey hair, does not look anything like the mid 60's that Tommy would be. the 'CJ' looks too young (he would be in his 40's to 50's now), and finally Rockstar has always said, they will not re-introduce old caracters as players.

If it does come out then, I guess I'll be failing my Uni exams a month and a half later lol.

Gotta say; I am both horribly disappointed and unbelievably excited. I actually hope it is just Los Santos, the issue with San Andreas was the boredom of moving through boring countryside to boring under detailed cities.

I hope, most of all, that the game is set in 'Vice City', if not a 'Carcer City' would be cool, but unlikley. I do like the idea of a single city, as opposed to the multi city/state style of San Andreas. I hope if based on an 'SA' city that its San Fierro, I'm open to the idea of Las Venturas. But I hope it's not 'Los Santos' or an LA based city. 2 reasons, I have two other new R* games both set in LA, and, no offence to any fans, but I felt that city doesnt lend it's self to the style of game with which we are accustomed.

Sinnnnnce when was Rockstar North based in Britain? And since when has ANY GTA been a British game? Excuse me while I feel stupid on that last question, forgetting about the two expansions to the original GTA. R* North is based in Edinburgh, Scotland, Great Britain, The United Kingdom. Most of the staff are from Britain, might be a few from the continent too. The games, except for '61 and '69, are set in the States, but are not made there.

But the content shouldn't be the decider, it should be either audience or producer, and apart from San Andreas, the audience is not majority American. But, I am venting. I get quite annoyed by it sometimes.

I dont want things like tractors or jet packs or tanks (except NOOSE APC) or Returning to gangs or San Andreas or car modifications (i found San andreas to be way to OTT) i love how gta IV has a real city feel, but a few planes would be awesome, i dont really like the big country areas in San andreas. i reckon it should be set in vice city or any other fictional american city
