Hey huck, cheers for the post. Nevermind though, I'd buggered up the vehicle's line in the IDE file so it created a conflict and stuff stopped spawning. Out of interest, though, do you know of any vehicle spawners that run with the latest build of the game?

Hey all. I'm pretty crap at all this modding stuff and I've only just decided to get into it at all and it's not gone well.
So I ran through a tutorial on replacing vehicles in the game, did the whole xliveless thing, launched from the actual exe instead of the launcher, yadda yadda. Trouble is when I get into game having replaced some files, just... no cars appear. At all. What'sa goin on?

We should all just take solace in the fact it's definitely coming before Black mesa source, HL2 Episode 3, Diablo 3 and Duke Nuke.... er. Well yeah. I'd be surprised if it wasn't this year, probably quite a way into the financial year aswell, but certainly pre-holidays.

I love how chill they are over all this stuff, especially the Claude killing Catalina thing. They're like 'yeah nobody knows' just so that people keep playing, keep trying to find bits of info as if there's something more.

It's literally a luck of the draw with this sort of thing I find. I've had £10 3rd party ps2 controllers work more reliably and outlast official ones when connected via a PC adapter. I'd be tempted to shell out a bit more, regardless, and failing that post on some forums / ask some friends if they have any recommendations.

Been watching loads of film recently, everytime someone says 'have you watched (xyz film everyone has seen)' i think to myself 'why haven't I seen that. So yeah watched more films in these past 4 months than i ever though I'd have the patience for. Going in classic tonight with American History X. Before that, a few nights ago was 'old boy' - pretty weird - and i watched layer cake not long before that - epic film.

Errr no, we're against distributing original game files here... it's a bit illegal and for all we know you could never have paid for the game. Just suck it up and reinstall, plus it'll be quicker than finding an email host for a file that large and then downloading it, anyway.

^This. Just find a way around. We try to be as user-centric as possible, and should that guy come back (we can't guarantee that he won't) he might be slightly annoyed that we changed his name. Just suck it up. What's to guarantee that you won't disappear tomorrow and never come back?

I can honestly see this act going through and catalysing a proper revision of how the world works. More people will wake up to the fact that their entire life is moulded from a young age to just sustain the system, and that as long as you are a part of the system, and not one of those controlling it, you have no say, nothing.

I read somewhere that they've continued short range missile testing without skipping a breath. But yet, the guys working out on those ranges probably haven't been told. Reading back on the article you linked to is kind of depressing in a way, how the people wept for him after such oppression.
The saddest thing is that I highly doubt his regime will change, his son was probably amply 'prepared' for the job of becoming his successor. I wouldn't be surprised if the UN try to twist his arm a bit though - and probably end up underestimating his faith towards hi late father.

Depends how you mean. If you intend to remove the game's original files, that's all fine and legal. Replacing them with new music, whether you've bought it legally or not, and going on to effectively distribute that music is definitely illegal.

Also i have a huge thing about 'feat' - to me it belongs in the song title, not the artist. I know, I know... but that's just how I like it, because:

This is the kind of thing I would pay money for. But when / if it hits amazon's service because I despise apple to my core (pun intended). I could go through a playlist and acquire them all individually, but then the chances of them being coherently tagged and consistent are zero. I have a serious OCD for that shit aswell.
More OT: The tracklists are shorter than I thought they would be, but then the 3 dollar price tag is lower than expected aswell. Rockstar and apple seem to be building quite the friendship recently.

Yeah the UI is balls.
Idk about the car customisation yet tbh, not paying for a premium account to get the $ / xp boosts so it tkes fuckign ages to egt new cars / upgrades etc. From what i can see you can make some really nice creations though, think i've seen some custom liveries people have uploaded aswell (saw an epic sleeper / lowrider with a mental Ken Block livery
) But it's a bit of a shame the selection of fast cars isn't semingly that big. There's a totally not dodge ram, totally not a IV banshee, a totally not a porsche and a totally not a mustang in that sort of department I've seen. -
Evo: Same one, the original dev went into liquidation and someone else picked up the assets, it's gone Free to Play and is in beta.
Tuner/a: Lol good luck with that, you have to buy (ingame $)most of your shit which is a total pain in the ass, plus the buy sell interface is just bollocks. I'm on EU1 i think (the one that isn't patriot) if you were at all inetrested. Play on financial mostly and get stomped by the same 4 guys repeatedly.

So the Beta for APB reloaded hit steam today, anybody played it at all?
I rocked a couple of hours on it earlier this evening with a couple friends and I love the premise. The execution's even not too bad. But the fuckin' balance issues are horrible. Pay to play just flat kills free to play. Fact. There's no way to differentiate the groups or split them up. We had a team of 4, with teamspeak and got wrecked by a bunch of randommers who had just paid for guns. It's ridiculous how you can be matchmade with people so much more heavily geared than yourself. They snowball up, and you're left with the same shitty starting rifle.
When you do get a nice balanced set of teams though it's really nice, tactics actually matter and flanking is your bread and butter.
So, anyone played this / planning to / paid for a bajillion dollars ingame and want to group up?

I used to get lag in Skyrim, then I took an arrow to the knee.
OT: I'm really happy with the game, yeah there are some things which are becomign an issue. Ice and snow look a bit like balls and there's obviously some bugs. I think it's really well put together though and have played a hell of a lot so far. Just waiting for Beth to patch the patch which stops my armour being useful and makes shit fly backwards and I'll be back on it.
For anyone interested I'm playing a dual blades - sword assassin with the nightingale armour. Sneak skill is 99 so bitches dun know bout my presence. Also played with some mods, like the child killing one (they're irritating as fuck, k?), some fletching ones so I can make decent arrows and another which gives the option for unenchanted versions of the nice armours so you can choose your own. Next move is enchanting skill, probably followed by speech so I can rake in the cash.

We would need / have felt the need in the past to keep the criteria out of spamming reach. By the time someone spams their way NEAR to 500 posts they've been removed from the forum. We had a minimum post requirement for gang creation (i think), anything after that and it was assumed the Don of said gang was integrated enough into the forum to care and not just lead a merry band of douchebags, and could set the post limit themselves. Sadly this was not always the case. We had two members in the DS with under 300 posts, because they weren't utter dicks. Remember, kids: 200 awesome posts is better than 2000 shitty ones. In the same way that 5 awesome gang members is better than 50 nabs.

Well it looks to me like you've installed a mod which replaces the boat you were meant to use for this mission. Not only has it changed the look of the boat, but the handling aswell, which means it's slower. You can uninstall the mod by replacing the originals that you've hopefully made backups of to fix the problem.
