  1. Wasn't sure where this post was suitable so If a mod could move it or whatever to a more suitable place that would be much appreciated. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hey there people of the rockstar community I need help and was wondering if someone who knows alot about this kind of stuff. Basically I need someone to show/help me with making a GTA:V multiplayer mod because I think private GTA servers are alot more fun and no one has seemed to make one for GTA:IV or the episodes the latest multiplayer mod we have is for the GTA:SA servers. The reason I want to make this multiplayer mod is because im sick and tired of the MTA:SA mod its boring now anyways if someone could teach me a few things of how I would start going about this project I would be most greatfull. You can email me or skype me my details are below. I know lua, a bit of C++ (I have a programming book), and a tiny bit of java. If someone could help I think it would be a really successfull mod for the community. PS. I know this mod cannot be created untill the game is released but I think if I start learning now then the process of creating the mod will be alot quicker. Thanks! Kieron Wiltshire //aka. 4. The UFO myth appeared quite early in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. It revolves around unidentified flying objects, aliens associated to them, and their possible locations. The existence of UFOs are somewhat certain to be false as the game's files have been torn apart and investigated for years however numerous people who are doubting this fact are continuing looking for them till this day. OverviewThe myth may have been started when several clues and instances appear to indicate the existence of UFOs, especially the blinking orbs seen in the night sky. There is no evidence of any "traditional" aliens or flying saucers existing in the game. The only known UFO is the fake one spinning on a pole outside the Lil' Probe Inn. The Inn has started multiple speculations about possible areas where UFOs can be seen. If the player goes down the back behind the counter they will see a small room with a radio transmitter, computer, pictures of UFOs, and a map on the wall with 11 dots marking the map. The dots are most likely pins, as there are four located in the corners of the map. The map may have marked UFO sightings. The same map is located at Mike Toreno's ranch. Nothing suspicious has been found regarding the map, it is believed that it is there only for decorative purposes and to create the atmosphere. It could be an included easter egg by Rockstar Games, as it is a prerelease map, evidenced by the massive differences in land forms. There are some pictures on the walls in the bar itself - all of them featuring real-life pictures. A news segment on the radio station WCTR mentions that residents of Bone County area have reported seeing lights over the desert. According to WCTR, the government blames water supply. The Truth, the hippy Carl meets later in the game, also speaks about "Them... Who can't control our minds" and "Snake-headed aliens who run oil business". As an oil refinery is located near Area 69, it is believed that there is a higher possibility of spotting the UFO in that vicinity, as opposed to anywhere else in San Andreas. During the mission Black Project various lines of dialogue can be heard over a P.A. system, once the player has broken into the interior. The only two alien-related messages are; "could the owner of the alien culture in the diagnostics lab please kindly remove it", and "personnel found stealing alien technology will not be invited on the next staff night out". The only appearance of the aliens is in the mission Green Goo, and inside of the game files. Internal files reveal the name of the TXD is greengoo.TXD. And the textures are named alien_liquid, alien_glass, and alien_cont2. Also in the mission "Stowaway" it is belived that the goverment agents are Aliens. Blinking sky lightsIn the night sky, players can see blinking lights in various colors with streaming lines behind them. They had existed since GTA III and have appeared in every GTA game since then, except GTA Advance and GTA Chinatown Wars. These blinking lights are merely simulations of high-altitude flying aircraft at night. Because of the possibility of being able to reach extreme heights and air speeds in GTA San Andreas and GTA IV, many players have misidentified them as alien UFOs. In GTA IV, a white small light was found that passed Rotterdam Tower close to the ground. The best explanation is that it was a bug. Men in BlackDuring the mission "Stowaway," Mike Toreno instructs Carl Johnson to destroy an Andromada plane carrying explosives for use in the Middle East. Toreno claimed that they are from another government department that supplies weapons to other countries. While on board the plane the crew will utter strange phrases whilst attacking the player, including: "you evolved from shrews", "this endangers everything", "carbon based buffoon", "idiotic mammal", "this doesn't concern you", and "the great day will come". These agents are based on the agents from The Matrix Seriesand the Men in Black series. They don black suits with black ties, and black sunglasses, and own black vehicles such as the Huntley, Bobcat and a Maverick. Their model names are bmymiband wmomib, suggesting that they are indeed based on the MIBs. They appear first in the mission Interdiction. PedestriansCertain pedestrians are speculated to be related to aliens. These include two pedestrians that players have nicknamed "Mr. Hat" and "Mr. Trenchcoat", DNMOLC1, who is suspected to be an alien by many players, and the Paranoid Cowboy, who often speaks about being abducted and/or probed by aliens. DNMOLC1DNMOLC1 is the model name given to this pedestrian in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. This pedestrian is classified as an old male Native American and a local to the desert area. He wears a Native American-style brown and red bandanna around his head and an Indian-style necklace and speaks with a Native American accent. He can be found almost anywhere in Bone County, walking around outside or in interiors and driving vehicles. Fans believe that this pedestrian is a alien disguised as an old Native American man. At first he may come off as a traditional old American Indian saying "we must take care of Mother Earth" and talking about spirits to himself. However, the first hints he gives off as being an alien impersonating an Indian is by saying "you're a genius civilization" to himself. When the player bumps into him stuff like "is this mating?", "I come in peace", and other remarks. When provoked into fighting you he says "I do not wish to hurt you", "I will throw with my right?", "I will spill your fluids", and other things that an ordinary human wouldn't say. In some of the rare conversations he has with other pedestrians he can be heard to say "You are poised for extinction". He is one of the few pedestrians that will not comment on Carl Johnson's appearance. Not much is known about the alleged "Disguised Alien". One notable thing about him is that any place you find him will be near Area 69. This is a little suspicious. However, some doubt must be taken into consideration. He may be referencing his race/ethnicity, such as "you're a genius civilization" could simply mean he adores Western culture. He may simply appear near Area 69 because of his spawn area coded into the game, which includes many other peds. "Mr. Hat" and "Mr. Trenchcoat""Mr. Hat" and "Mr. Trenchcoat" are two pedestrians that appear in the game, as the player never gets to find out their real names, fans have given them simple nicknames based on their appearance. "Mr. Hat" wears an eye-patch, a baseball cap, jeans and a blue shirt, while "Mr. Trenchcoat" wears a black cowboy hat, black trenchcoat, black boots and stars-and-stripes tie. They could be related to the aliens issue in some way. For example, most of the time they spawn near the Big Ear, the geyser or The Lil' Probe Inn - anywhere near the Fort Carson area. Some people claim that they have seen "Mr. Trenchcoat" chasing and talking to people asking them to join. It hasn't been proven that he does that, but a list of phrases that he uses often suggest that he was abducted by aliens at some point in his life: - They are watching us! - They know. - You know they know. - Get away from me! - He's one of them! - You're not gonna probe me again. - You green blooded monster. "Mr. Hat", however, doesn't say anything strange, but it was claimed many times that when killed, he spawns again almost immediately after the player has turned away. He is often seen speaking to "Mr. Trenchcoat". It was once claimed that the Sandking that spawns under The Big Ear belongs to Mr Trenchcoat. If the truck is parked there it is supposedly easier to find "Mr. Trenchcoat". The Big Ear, which some people believe was built by the military forces to control the sky in case aliens invade, points exactly North. There were suggestions about it, but no clear conclusion has been made. Paranoid CowboyThe Paranoid Cowboy is a pedestrian found walking around The Big Ear, Fort Carson, inside The Big Spread Ranch, and inside the 24/7 food market. This pedestrian model can only spawn one at a time in each location, however. This pedestrian is very hard to miss. He wears brown cowboy boots, blue jeans, a blue and white checkered flannel shirt, black sunglasses, and a large cowboy hat. He also has a light brown beard and has a cigarette in his mouth. Apparently he has a look-alike, making it rather hard to identify him, the only difference is his voice, the Paranoid Cowboy speaks with no particular accent and his look-alike speaks with a heavy country accent (also shared with another pedestrian). There isn't much to tell about the Paranoid Cowboy other than beyond making comical remarks, he is jokingly paranoid of being abducted by aliens. This is apparent by the remarks he makes about Carl Johnson's appearance. He will say to CJ: "you won't abduct me, no you won't" and "boy, you sure make a good target for them." He is presumed to be talking about aliens when saying "them". The map in Toreno's Ranch, and the Lil' Probe Inn. The Lil' Probe'Inn. Area 69. A scientist that appears inside Area 69. The green goo. The four types of lights that can be seen zooming through the sky at night. Screen capture from one video of a "UFO." A yellow "UFO."Note that the object was moving very fast. The agents appearing in Interdiction. DNMOLC1. Mr. Hat, and Mr. Trenchcoat. Paranoid Cowboy.

    car modification in gta 5

do you think they should implement car modification into gta5, if so what are your ideas as to the complexity and extent of this. I think the modifications should be similiar to the saints row and midnight club series, with modifications as follows. However the modifications ae focus mainly on visuals, but performance mods are also available. The player should also have the ability to remove parts if they want to. Body mods Standard parts (available for most cars, suvs, and pickups.) Front Bumpers (maybe 2 or 3 different ones per car) Rear Bumpers (maybe 2 or 3 different ones per car) headlights (normal, chrome, blacked out+light color options) (some cars might also have rally style lights available, such as the sultan) Taillights (normal, chrome, blacked out+light color options) Spoilers (maybe 2 or 3 different ones per car, increases downforce) Rims. (a large selection including spinners, wire rims, and other various styles ) tyres (whitewall, blackwall, offroad, runflat) Hoods(2 or 3 different ones per car, also with carbon fiber versions) (muscle cars such as the sabre, tampa and dukes also have the option to add superchargers) Grills (2 or 3 per aplicable car, not all cars have grills) roll cages (1 or 2 per car) neon hydraulics roof scoops Offroad parts (available for suvs and pickups) exhaust tips( 3-5 generic ones like gtasa) Bullbars (maybe 2 or 3 different ones per car) tailight guards bed covers (mostly for pickups 2 or 3 per truck including campershell, standard and a standard with spoiler) rooflights (1 or 2 per car),(may also include rollbars for pickups) mudflaps. Adjustables (adjustability depends on the car) ride height tire profile wheel width rim size Paint (includes gloss, chrome, matte, pearlescent, and metalic options) Primary color secondary color rim color window tint neon color interior color seat color roof color (mostly for convertibles) Interior mods Sound systems ( includes full custom speeker, subwoofers, amps, and boxes that go either in the car or in the trunk of the car or the back of a pickup\suv like the spanish lords cavalcade) 1 or 2 sets per vehicle seats( one or 2 different options per vehicle) Performance mods (works in 3 stages) each stage increases power by ten percent) Nitrous (works basically like it did in gtasa) Turbo(increases engine power by 20%)Stage 2-30% ,stage 3-40% Exhaust(increases engine power by 10%) intake (increases engine power by 10%) Tires(increases grip and acceleration) Engine swap (switch the engine of the car to a more powerful but appropriate replacement list below) supercharger(available only for v-type engines, increases engine power by 25%+15%for each additional stage ) compacts (cars like the blista compact and futo) ( engines can be removed from stolen cars in order to place them in your car. Grand Theft Auto : San Andreas DFF Help

Can someone help??? I need to know how to create dff files for sa. Is it possible using Google SketchUp PRO? i made 3d models of vehicles in SketchUp. The files are in .skp, some have been converted to .3ds. Is there anyway to convert the file to .dff using Google Sketchup?
  12. Well, now. You've all heard of Rockstar Classics right? You can accentually get GTA 2 for free and GTA Volume One. Well I suspect this will happen (the title becoming freeware) With San Andreas by GTA VIII. Or when retailers no longer stock this game for good. I mean I hope this does happen but a game that costs much to build will be rare though. What is your opinion?
  13. Well, this is my 1st post, i was putting new cars to my GTA (with GGMM because SAMI didn´t work for me) and when i finished, i executed the game. When it was loading, the game crashed just when the bar was half-filled and then the classic windows 7 message appeared: "GTA San Andreas.exe stopped working" I put "close program" (I don´t know if i translated this well, my Windows 7 is in spanish) Later I tried with SAMI (I needed framework 1.1)i put the new cars but it still was the same. I had modded cars before, but this is very strange to me. Any answer? P.S. Sorry if i have bad english, i speak spanish.

    GTA V Fanart Thread

I made this topic for everyone to post there GTA V Fanart! Covers, wallpapers, you name it you can post it. You can also find some PSD's and PNG's I have gathered to assist you in making your covers and logo's! You can find them at the very bottom of this thread. I'll get the ball rolling by posting my cover I did earlier. Resources: These can be used for you to create your own cover. All of these are .PNG format so they keep their transparency and can be used in Photoshop. I have linked to them and not posted them as images as they're massive. I did use a PSD for the basic layout of the cover which I'll try hunt down and post shortly. 15. Someone please help me, i installed a couple of vehicle mods for GTA IV, and now it won't start, i do get the LaunchGTAIV.exe but after 5 seconds it goes away, and nothing happens, i tried a crack to fix it but that didn't work either. could someone help me out? Do u have a solution or an intact vehicles.img file?
  16. well, looks like i may need some help. so i've been playing gta SA alot and i just got into moding it yesterday, had to do the whole steam switch over thing. but now when i try to start up the game it plays the intro and all that but after i load my file and it gets past the loading screen, the game errors and closes. Its the "end now" window. i think a possible reason for it is that i installed a mod today that involved me rewriting some of the scripts under models/player that involved a skin change. i didnt make a backup folder of the original player file and i regret not doing so. if someone could send me the original player file it would be much appreciated, or if you know of a better solution please tell me my email is [email protected] if you need to send me a file do it through my email and tell me if you emailed me on this thread, i dont check my email often.
