poohug Posted December 7, 2004 Share Posted December 7, 2004 (edited) I love vice city and was trippin out over the release of san andreas but I sat and i played and i was disapointed! It lacked the fluidity and confidence of vice city it felt like kindergaten. The graphics were unadvanced and cartoonish, the maps hard to navigate and the story surprisingly uninviting! Mabye I just didn't get into it. My real problems probably not unattaching my loyalty to vice city. The only two things that annoy me is my sensitive disc and that you can't swim! And that's not much. So I challenge you to either teach me of vice citys flaws or convince me of san andreas' 'aces'??? tommy vercetti guy Posted December 7, 2004 Share Posted December 7, 2004 Vice City + good soundtrack + Miami land - No train - No tunnel - Weak little gangs - No F word - No teargas in PC - manual aiming in PC version only San Andreas + train + swimming + sims stuff (eating, exercise etc) + Custimazation +Strong gangs - stuff dissapear when driving 2 fast - playing as a black guy, 4 some people And welcome 2 Da forums! spyrolot Posted December 19, 2004 Share Posted December 19, 2004 san andreas has all the features of vice city AND MORE. you have more responsability, you actually have to deal with every day things like eating and keeping fit. maybe not so every day for some is the gang wars, you have to fight for territory, and the gangs u r foghting beat the gangs of gta vice city by far. vice city did not have gang wars, maybe on internet play (i dont rally know anything about that, i dont even know if there is one). and things just beat it by far. it is more realistic, and you actually have the ability to talk to members of the public, or choose the way you fight. even down to what clothes you wear. the missions get better as you go through the game, and soon it is impossible to stop playing. san andreas is most probably the best game yet. the amount of things i have read about how san andreas has broken the record books. san andreas puts vice city to shame. even the possibilaty to rob houses is there, you can have a gang follow you, you can have your picture taken from them, it is just so cool. and even the possibilaty to bmx, glen park skatepark is the best, when you finally odo a trick in the air. i cant really do them that well . there is so many possibilatys in san andreas. there will always be something to do there. and even 2 player makes it much better, that is if you have friends. but beware when you get addicted you might actually lose friends Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I love to gamble in all the casinos. I love to hijack trains and derail them. I love to fly the jetpack to the airport and fly to Liberty City. (Yes, there is a mission where you do that) He loves to hear peds say stuff like "The internet is shit, it'll never catch on." I REALLY love pimpin out cars and takin' a drive with some gang members. I also love Vice, but it had some shortcomings. So did GTA3, and by that I mean nothing to do after you beat the missions. The only two things a don't like SA for are: 1.
