Here's a couple of pics showing the final outcome. Yes I know I need a new desk, this one really does fucking suck. The clear screen in the side of the case is of no use here...

Another HUGE improvement over my old PC is the noise... this thing is soooooo quiet, it's barely a humming noise. I love it!

It runs everything so damn quick it's amazing. Also, I ran 3DMark06 on it today, and my PC scored 9,234 :D

I didn't even have the patience to sit through all the tests on my old PC :P

Any comments? :)

I spent over £800 for new parts. The sound card, speakers, monitor, keyboard/mouse and also one of the hard drives were taken from out of my old PC. So that saved me more money. To buy all of it new would have cost over £1000.

Also, the EyeToy is damn good quality webcam, beats the hell out of those cheap Logitech ones anyway :P

@TM: lol yes, and FYI Photoshop CS3 fully loads in mere seconds, took like at least 30 seconds to load up on my old PC...

@chris82: Yeah that's why I got two of them, they fill up so quickly with 'things' that we download. And yeah the only thing I hate about wireless kb/mice is having to change the batteries, oh and the fact my Desk is more cluttered with the infra red receiver or whatever it is.

How is the cooling on that case chris? I know that with alot of high end cases you sacrifice cooling for quietness/ good looks and stuff. I mean, it looks sweet, and you say it's real quiet, so do you ever find it gets real hot in there.

Note: I own an antec P180 - Sweeeeeeeeet case, keeps cool, looks good, nice and quiet. Cost a bunch though....

(btw, it's the all - black alu. version, not the silver alu.)

And is that lightscribe i see on the DVD writer (or is it exclusive to samsung???)

Anywhoo, looking good...
