Really need help please...

Hi well the first time i installed vice city it was working fine then i put mods in it. It started to bug up and stuff. But i could always fix it by re-installing it.

Then i used that vcmm and it bugged up again. And i have uninstalled everything all the mod programs. Vice city, all of it. I reinstalled without any mods and it still doesn't work.

Ill start a game and ill drive for abit then it says that exception thing. Well anyway i have installed it and unistalled it over 5 times now. No result. Can anyone help please.

I have no idea what is causing it. And i tried system restore but it doesnt go back far enough!!!!!

Any help appreciated.

Have you Completely Removed the Game from the Computer (ie GTA Vice City in Program Files)

i removed every trace of it. Or i might have missed something...

I've run into this before.

After you uninstall your game, make sure the VC folder is gone. After you do that, defrag your drive.

Sometimes, when you reinstall, windows will find old DATA files & re use them. The defrag will overwrite them & should get

rid of the corrupted files.

When you start adding mods, back up your DATA & MODELS folders after each one, so if your mod goes bad you won't lose

as much.
