I already said this in wishlist but I will say it again, who would like niko being able to do some gruesome deaths like in manhunt?

I really don't want all that gruesome.

Won't happen, Rockstar isn't just about GTA, they have many spectrum's of gaming experiences to enjoy. They won't mix them into one, that's just not their flavor. Plus, do you think they plan on having another ban on their hands in the next year? Nope I doubt it.

From what I saw when Manhunt were in the making, everyone seemed to like the killings in their, but it was just too horrible. GTA isn't really about making the death look good like Manhunt 2 has. I think then GTA IV will have the same Impact Manhunt 2 had. So they wouldn't really pull a move like that in the game.

Gruesome shouldn't be a big thing in GTAIV maybe some blood stains and all that but if your meaning gruesome as cutting peoples limbs off or flying body parts. That wont happen I don't think.

GTA isn't about the gruesome deaths, it's about setting out a message at the end of every game which will make people think in a different way about all the killing and other bad things.

Although I'll agree on lack of gruesome content. The name alone (Grand Theft Auto) would suggest the focus of the game is

to be huge felon centered on car theft & related crimes. As it is, most of the violence in the game is more cartoonish, some

almost funny (in SA you bury a guy alive in an outhouse).

There are plenty of other titles to satisfy peoples taste for horror & it would miss the point of GTA, so don't expect to see it

in GTA IV. Do expect to see sales records when they finally release.

i didnt mean it that way. what i ment was that GTA is already very controversial, and having lots of gore in it could get it banned, and no one wants that. i didnt mean it wasnt successful or popular. sorry for confusion

Exactly. If this was to happen to GTA IV, it would end up like Manhunt and will eventually start getting banned in other countries. But I know they wouldn't, GTA isn't like Manhunt, more like Grand Theft Auto.

Remember that Manhunt and GTA are both two very different series, and they should stay that way. Merging them would be a silly idea, they both follow different paths and story lines are completely different on many levels.
