There needs to be a new category in the downloads section like cars or maps etc but for mods that dont require modding

like the water level mod and other cool things like that ones that dont need to mod on img just the ones were you download and it now works

Car mods are always done by modding the .img file... there is no other way. Trainers can't to this.

He means can we separate auto-install mods (such as GGMM or VCMM or just exes) from the manual-install mods. That's a good idea, although they don't need new categories, just an icon and the ability to filter them in or out.

My suggestions have been a thumbnail gallery view (so you can pick a car by the way it looks, rather than its name) and a search box at the top of each category (like in a subforum here) to quickly find something in that category.

Those can be found in the "Misc" category, as far as I know

Thumbnails would cause the page to take longer to load and would consume much more bandwidth. Bare that in mind too. Maybe the option to show the name or thumbnail would be a good idea. So people with slow internet won't really have a problem.

I meant as an option - an extra page you could look at only if you wanted to see them. Everybody would see what they see now, but if you want to view thumbnails, then you can.

Eg I want to be able to browse the entire car database to look for, say, a nice sports car to install. I don't have anything specific in mind, so reading the titles isn't the easiest way to find them. There are going to be loads of cars that I don't recognise the name of that would be ideal, and I would only spot them by seeing their thumbnails.
