The Game

It gets boring after you complete it, some of the missions were so damn hard, like 'Turn on, tune in, bug out. I devised a way to get around that mission but there is only one requirement apart from a PSP and the game, cojones!.It was so damn addictive at the time, but now it's boring cos I completed it several times.

Meh, i did like the game, alot, it being GTA and all. But, it's somewhere down the bottom of my list of best GTA's. Though it was enjoyable, it brought me close to smashing my PSP into little black japanese pieces several times. 'Light my pyre' was an absolute bitch to complete. The start was a little slow too.

If you're wondering whether or not to buy it, you might aswell. But, get it cheap off the net. It's a GTA all the same.

Bikers were the worst, every time you got in the car they were right there.

I used a simple strategy. Take a front & start building, handle the next attack & save at that front as soon as it was saved.

Then quit & reload, which stopped the attacks & re-set the gangs to a "peaceful" state until you took another front.

The only thing to watch was that another front was being attacked while you saved & you would have to look for & repair

it when you re-started. Not so bad.

GTA VCS is a Brilliant game, I am currently playing it and the graphics on PSP are amazing, much better than the graphics in old Vice City, and the game itself improves upon LCS in every possible way, it has got swimming, Helicopters, Planes, buyable properties that can be developed, longer and more difficult missions, and more side missions required for 100% which makes for great replay value. :R*:

One of the best features VCS has got over the old vice game is Swimming, admit it, you hated when Tommy would drown all the time, and being able to swim in this game makes old VC look bad, also, in this game, you can develop and choose which type of business properties you can make, Tommy never got to choose, while Vic Vance can choose from 6 different types of business to build.

The missions in this game are much harder and longer than the missions in VC and LCS, the missions in LCS were a bit short and simple, while the missions in this game and a bit more complicated and difficult, the old vice city game did have a lot of side missions required for 100%, but this game had much more, just about the same amount of odd jobs that San Andreas had, doing all the main missions in this game will take you around 10 or 15 Hours, but doing all the Red Balloons, rampages, and Taxi missions etc, will take you another 9 hours, so there is a lot of fun to be had, not to mention you will need a lot of patience to do everything.

The side missions in this game are better than the one's in LCS, they make more sense and actually have a solution to them, because some of the race's and vehicle jobs in LCS did not make sense, and were a little TOO difficult, a great example of this is the RC ( remote controlled) Car race at Beleville Park, I mean Seriously, the RC car handles like like a dog, it was stupid, and the other cars had an unfair advantage over you, it took me at least 4 hours until I finally passed it, but I was going insane and nearly smashed my PSP out of anger. :bashhead:

Also, Vice City is arguably a nicer place than Liberty City, which was a very dim and grey, but Vice City is nice and sunny and this game is a tour back to the great city, the game may be very similiar to old vice city, and may not have as much features as San Andreas, but it is a fully welcomed feature to the series that is GTA. :worship:

Some think that if Rockstar ever decide to bring San Andreas to the PSP, it will beat VCS and give the PSP a new top game, but I doubt that.

So, I only read a few paragraphs. The swimming in VCS wasn't all that great, you had one minute of swimming time, and if you wanted infinite swimming, you had to complete the side missions. But it was fun doing them though. If they were to make another GTA for the PSP, I am sure that it will be better then LCS and VCS, R* learn from their mistakes.

Even though you need to complete the side missions for Infinite Swimming, I still liked it, being able to swim in this came shows that R* do bring us what we want in follow-ups to previous games.

The game itself was ok, it had some really good features and was nice to go back and play what happened before VC, however the original VC was far better imo. Now i liked the empire feature (yes it could get annoying when your empire is getting attacked constantly but i found that it wasnt that much of a problem) but all in all i prefered the business scheme from VC. I played my version on the ps2 and found the aiming controls sucked (i hate aiming with left stick, infact i hate aiming with the ps2 analog sticks full stop) but for £20 (UK) you cant complain, never bothered to get 100% though. Finally my favourite thing out of it all was the jet ski mission, you know the one you start by hopping on the jetski where the plane from VC used to be outside the porn studios.

The game was fun and interesting. I beat the game 3 days ago and now i wish i didn't. It was alot fun doing the missions. Of course they could have added more girlfriends, car mods, more weapons and buying safehouses. I'm sure there going to have updates to make the game stay fun. But all in all it was a woot.
