Return to the streets of Liberty City in a brand new story, all new missions, and classic open-ended Grand Theft Auto gameplay.

It was supposed to be the last job you and Vinnie would do for the mob.

After this, you'd both have enough money to escape this vicious circle, and Liberty City, for good.

Then Vinnie's getaway car went up in a ball of flame along with all the cash. Suddenly every cop in the city is chasing you down. You'll get out of Liberty City all right, but not before you find Vinnie's murderers and turn the tables on whomever it is that's out to get you.

Features

GTA Advance is set in Liberty City, one year prior to Grand Theft Auto 3, with twice the area to explore.

The game reintroduces the top-down viewpoint from GTA1 and GTA2.

It is being developed by Digital Eclipse.

Along with only a handful of other GBA games (Wolfenstein 3D, Max Payne & a few others), GTA GBA will be rated M for Mature.

The main character is called Mike, a young fellow working for the Mafia.

Mike's mentor, Vinnie, was mysteriously killed on their last mission, in a car bomb.

This threw him back on the streets of Liberty, and left him on the run from the cops and the Mob.

As you progress through the game, Portland, Staunton Island and Shoreside Vale will unlock.

Asuka the Yakuza queen, from GTA3, will be returning. Mike will be doing missions for her revolving around security for casinos.

Missions are super-open-ended. If a casino owner doesn't pay you, you can take missions from him or just burn his casino down.

Freelance missions such as firetruck, police, ambulance, taxi services and rampages will be possible.

There will be hidden packages to collect.

The number of vehicles is in the dozens, including a Tank
