HOLY CRAP! I think that translates to over $100 (US), where are you getting it?

Release price for most next gen games is right around $60 & I think I saw the premium pack for $90 just before the

original release date got pushed back.

Im getting it from Game - http://www.game.co.uk/Xbox360/Action/Shoot...pecial-Edition/

Anyways I don't mind paying that much since I love GTA so much! Plus it will be valuble to get the Special Edition one.

Well, I haven't actually stolen a car or murdered anyone, so I guess I was mature enough to play GTA when I was 4.

I've been playing since the age of 8, but, the age gap probably explains that. Not really news, just a bit of information that we were waiting to be confirmed.

Nice find anyways, probably get My bro to go out when he gets his copy.

damnit, fuck hope the rating wont go higher like Rated A

Seeing as all the GTA games have been passed as 18s, and none of them have been particularly close to the knuckle in terms of gratuitous violence, GTA4 will be fine, despite the current problems with the BBFC. Maybe GTA3 was closest to the knuckle because it entered into 3D for the first time, or San Andreas for the gang culture, whatever. Manhunt 2 was only the 2nd game banned in about 10 or more years, the 1st was Carmaggedon. GTA4 won't have the same sort of violence both Manhunt games had either - GTA relies on the storylines and open world exploration, whereas the Manhunt games are claustrophobic and encourage you to get the goriest kills possible. There's not a chance it will be rated AO.

...Of course, GTA IV will receive a Mature (17+) rating from the ESRB. I'm still gonna get it, and I don't think the clerks at my local Walmart give two shits if a 16 year old is buying an M-rated game.

one year difference between Mature and AO? Wow. i thought you were sh*ting me when you said that untill i looked it up. :o

If it does turn up AO here in canada, ( dont think it will), then ill just order it online. :D

I don't know how it works in other countries, but here ratings are a recommended guideline tool. For example MA15+ here means it is recommended to persons over 15+, if your not over 15 it is recommended you are accompanied by an adult or persons over 18. The only exclusions are X, XX and XXX (pornography). Same with all games and movie. When I was 10 I could see an M15+ or MA15+ movie if a parent was with me.

Believe me, I don't get it either. How can a one year difference determine whether a game reaches store shelves or can only be sold online or not even produced at all? That always confused the hell out of me.

Oh, and believe me Urban, my parents did their job well. A few talks explaining the difference between reality and videogames really works.

An 18+ rating from the ESRB means Adults Only, meaning people can't buy it. Sony doesn't allow AO games on the PS3 and I'm guessing neither does Microsoft.

Actually I thought ESRB was for the UK but its the BBFC, so I don't know what the ESRB is for lol! :P

But in the UK and Europe it will be 18+ just like all the other GTA's.

well here, theres no age qualification, as long as you pay you can buy a game

Although there are some shops in our turf that ask and verify your age before buying GTA... Yet, I'll be 18 in a few months, so that ain't much of a problem...

i could just borrow a copy from my cousin

Yeah... Maybe I could try that, too...
