Bulletproofboy Posted May 21, 2008 Share Posted May 21, 2008 Hey all My bro got me the game today for my 11th bday but I suck at Driving everytime I try to brake it slides and I kill pedestrains and police are near and I get wanted level.. so annoying... Connor Posted May 21, 2008 Share Posted May 21, 2008 Don't rush, and when you're going towards corners, if there are lots of cars, just edge past them slowly, and if there aren't many, just speed into the corner, not too fast, then brake, take off the accelerator, turn, then accelerate. TomNeckermann Posted May 22, 2008 Share Posted May 22, 2008 Tips on Driving Do what was previously said by Cat Licker, but when you go fast in the corner, do this. Push the brakes when you are 6 meters from the turning point, hold them in and then when you start turning, quickly tap X once (handbrake). Following that, accelerate while turning in the opposite direction. You should make the turn nicely then, but this does require training, so be careful. More tips? Send me a message. Urbanoutlaw Posted May 22, 2008 Share Posted May 22, 2008 Suggestion to all having trouble driving in GTA4 (not sarcasm, really helps). If you have access to a PS2, get Gran Turismo 4 & do the driving schools. The techniques you learn in GT4 really help w/ GTA4's new handling. You'll still have to practice but it helps, a lot.
