Like you have to get to a certain place with a ridiculously low amount of fuel. Also this could also mean that the amount of fuel in a vehicle could determine the blast radius of the explosion it gives off when shot/ rolled/ rocketed/ thrown down a cliff after you have bailed out/ destroyed in general.
