BlackListedB Posted February 2, 2015 Share Posted February 2, 2015 A recent TV news story just touched on the evolution of car engine and exhaust sound, dispelling the perception that they were actually generated by the car's engine and exhaust system, NO, in fact, the electronics in the car and speakers create or RECREATE a sound of the Musclecar era. What puzzled me is the suggestion this is the car's inboard speaker system producing engine and exhaust note for an enthusiast effect.
