You can't use your own cars and you can't do anything else without editing the speed of the care you're in or using a trainer to boost your speed. Thats cheating though. It isn't the hardest mission, have a look round the web for a walkthrough if you aren't sure how to do it. Don't forget you're using the 'special controls' to tilt the cars to the music.
