Help with custom music?

Hi I just joined, Im new to GTA on the PC, i've played them all to death on the Playstation 2 though so im not a GTA n00b.It's just that I don't know how to use my own tunes in the game, I tried putting them in the GTA Vice City MP3 folder but they won't work.

Can anyone help me out please?

PS, if this is a really silly question please excuse my ignorence

First of all, Welcome to the forums! :hi: Now in order to get the mp3's to show up in the game you'll need a certain codec. I'm not sure what the codec is but I know that for some reason, if you download the latest version of Quicktime Player and install it, the game then seems to recognize the user tracks. Try this out and see if it helps.

It's simple to put custom sountrack in VC. Yous put them in the right folder. The extension must be .wav or .mp3

.wav doesn't need a codec and you get MPEG audio layer III codec along with windows, so it should all work out fine unless you've screwed up something with codecs.

When you do all this, a new radio station "mp3 player" should appear in VC.
