OK, I'll wait. I doubt it will be that simple though. The reason I want to do it is so I can e mail a save file, like you can with a PSP.

If you can't do that, is there another way to put a PS2 save file on a computer so I can upload it/e mail it etc?

There's some sort of Action Replay or Gameshark device that can do this sort of thing, I mean if you take a look at the PS2 pages on GameFAQs you'll see loads of PS2 saves people have uploaded...

Ah look there's SharkPort, X-Port, Codebreaker, and AR MAX saves there. I'm guessing you might need one of those devices to get a ps2 save on to your PC.

Your PS2 probably won't recognise your USB device as it's only made to recognise PS2 specific things, such as the eyetoy. Plugging it in will do no harm though, or at least it shouldn't do.
