    Well Portugal isn't dangerous at all. Unless you are a security guard in a nightclub, that way you could get killed by some Organized Crime dudes. Yeah, the organized crime risen has fuck in Portugal during the last few months. Well still not one of the most dangerous countries in the world.

    Portugal has a quite a lot of drug trafficking i think. but organised crime doesent really pose any threat to normal people, its street crime that makes a place more dangerous.

    thanks, and yeah i might use some gta3 cars. i probably wont use any gta3 buildings though cos they wont fit in with VC very well. most of the map will be custom modeled by me. and i will check out some of your skins B)

    i will make a new website, because freewebs is just shit, i just use it for hosting screenshots now.

    and yeah, this mod is going to be a pretty slow process because i go to work weekdays and i have spend a bit of time with my friends too so i dont get much time for modding, but i will probaly release a beta around christmas once i have finished retexturing the city and converting the cars. after that i will start working on the new map, ect. but it wont be finish for quite a while

    Ok i have been working on this mod for a couple of weeks now so i thought it was time to show the world what im doing. I have named this mod "Vice City Paradise" and my basic aim is to imrove Vice City as much as i can and make the graphics and features much more realistic. its very work in progress at the moment, and i have little free time to work on it so i cant pinpoint a release date. but i dont want to rush it and make a crap job of it. I hope you like the look of it :yup:

    So heres what i have planned/working on right now;

    - Every ground texture and some buildings and misc textures will be replaced with a realistic, high resolution ones.

    - San andreas cars will will replace most of the current vice city cars because of their better quality, but i will keep some of the classic VC cars and improve their qualilty (eg, VC infernus because i love that car). and i may make some new cars and restyle some existing GTA cars.

    - More realistic 2DFX.

    - New map areas outside of the city, eg, countryside, small towns and stuff.

    - Swimming (hopefully).

    - High-res weapons.

    - New pedestrian and player models.

    - High quality palm trees and other vegetation.

    - possibly, a new storyline, but thats unlikely at the moment

    - and anything else that pops into my head

    The number of cases that relate to WoW a(or similar)re far higher than that of GTA, for one. And, it's not as if they're killing to feed their addiction to GTA... is it? People can blame GTA, because it 'glamourises' killing. Wow (or similar) is a completely different genre, with a completely different theme, which doesn't involve killing random people, because it's set in a completely fictional place. GTA is set in America (although a fictional place IN America)

    I'm saying that it would be a good idea for companies who produce MMORPG's to use a splash screen or some shit, where they basically tell kis not to obssess over it, just like GTA tells you that T2 and R* don't 'endorse, encourage, or condone this kind of behaviour'

    In my opinion, if more people kill from Wow (or similar), which is less like real life than GTA does, then it's a problem.

    Also, it's not as if I'd consistently badger them, and take them to court for every fucking little thing. I'd contact 'em once, and leave it.

    i have always thought games like Wow aint doing kids any good. especially the kids that just play them non-stop, i think they get so detatched from the real world playing a fake life, subconciously they cant tell whats real life and whats a game. and thats when you get serious problems. also bear in mind that Wow does have killing in it, but unlike gta, it doesent make you aware of the concequences of killing (eg: being chased by the cops and getting arrested ect), and that cant be good for kids that already have scrambled brains from playing this rpg crap.

    not that exact code. the san andreas handling is setup differently has a few more bits in it, so you would need to improvise a little.

    its got to be vice city, for the beautiful women and beautiful cars. id live in little havana, my favorite district.

    i wouldnt want to live in liberty city, because to much rain, and gangs are trying to kill you on every street.

    and not los santos, because hearing people talk gangsta constantly would drive me absoloutly insane

    in pre-schools now they dont sing "bah bah black sheep" anymore. they sing "bah bah rainbow sheep". because saying black sheep is encouraging kids to be racist, according to politicians. i mean for fuck sakes, i think black people would be even more offended if people call them rainbow. <_< political correctness to the extreme, that is.
