I have fully researched this problem on and off for the past two days.
Full description of what I have tried, and the error message I get.
Installed v2.0
Immediately installed v1.00 down grader
Changed registry path from my documents to documents and setting under user gtasasav
installed downloaded saved game file
load
"gta-sa.exe has encountered a problem"
Every time I try to load a saved game.
deleted down loaded saved file.
started new game
saved
loaded saved game to insure my game was still working
load file loaded correctly
re-wrote over saved game with down loaded saved game file
"gta-sa.exe has encountered a problem"
gave up, signed up to search more posts.
Only one other post had a similar problem. That is because I downgraded, I still need the "main.scm file from v1"
Does any-one know if that will indeed work, and if any-one can supply it? I will check back often hoping to resolve my very annoying issue.
