So i've been working on getting any mod to work with my PC version of GTA IV.

I haven't gotten any to work. When I try to start the game after I try installing an asi loader + trainer etc the game WILL NOT load.

Then I tried to use an older patch because I think the 1.0.4.0 isn't compadable. So I manually downloaded 1.0.3.0 and the game actually loaded but at the main screen where Niko is none of the menu names were there. (ei: Start, Guide, Options etc) I hit enter and got into game but it started me back at the first mission. Plus the trainers wouldn't work.

I'm really confused and in a bind. Any help would be appreciated.

Ok so i just got the game and have been tinkering with things. So far i haven't been able to get one single mod working. I try to put the dsound.dll into my GTA folder and start the game but it wont load.

I'm a complete noob apparently. Any help?
