The only things I've installed are SRT3 and the high res plants mod. My save was broken, could not get busted, so I started over. Everything is working fine except for 2 things. One is no biggy because it only happens once. When the radar flashes when it teaches me what it is, half the models on the screen flash in and out too. O well. Only does it once. The real problem I'm having is that the textures aren't loading completely, only showing the 'far away' place holder textures, until I'm VERY close and it takes a second. To try to fix this, I installed Aures' texture replacer mod that comes with a view distance enhancer 8x. It had no change to this problem. Any thoughts? Just for the record, I'm running the game with a GTX 285. Hardware is no consequence, plus I was playing it high res just fine before.

I haven't completed the game yet :/ this is the 4th time since the PS2 days that I've given it a go. I apparently accidentally installed 10xtimecycle because I thought it was 10xviewdistance. It's a .dat file that apparently doesn't go into the gta.img meaning it's not one of the files I backed up. I resolved to use the no hunger code just to see how that would work out, but it seems I have another problem. I am incapable of being wanted (I KNOW JUST LIKE REAL LIFE, huh ladies?) I shot 2 po right in the melon and NOTHING. Not even a dirty look... Again NO clue what mod could have even done this. The only police mod I've installed is the one that replaces most of their textures.

Hello, love the mods. Have gone mod crazy like I do with most of the games I get into. But I seem to have installed one, or part of one, that increases the leveling speed of all skills. And I mean, a + like every 15 seconds fast. I'm a bit of a purists and I don't even cheat in GTA. Plus, it makes me hungry 2 minutes after I eat and lose muscle every few seconds. I honestly don't remember installing a mod that noted doing this. Most of the mods I have are retextures and a couple CLEO mods. If I could at least find out which files control this feature of the game, it will be a step in the right direction. Thx.
