how do you make your own cars

hey I am new I wanted to make my own vehicles but I am not sure how I got google sketchup and G Max with Kams scripts

i have made a real basic bike and I am not sure how to add glass or headlights or if i have to make the wheels or mark where they are to go and could someone please tell me what a good paint workshop is for making the .txd files.
