Johneg510
So, I am a noob here. So let me get the technical stuff out of the way: My Rig: Custom Biostar A760G M2+ Motherboard 4 GB SINGLE CHANNEL (2 sticks) DDR2 1066 Patriot Viper AMD Phenom II X3 720 Overclock to 3.4 Ghz, Stable. Diamond ATi 4890 1 GB Video Card (stock settings) Windows 7 RC x64 Samsung Spinright 250GB Primary Hard Drive Thermaltake PurePower 2.0 Power Supply 500 Watts (The weak link in my build) Anyhow, moving forward. When I play this game I get a REALLY BAD tearing effect from the VSYNC in game. I've turned my ATi drivers to compensate by removing AA and disabling VSYNC in game, but the game still runs like hell. In the benchmarks it says I get 54 FPS but half the time the screen is tearing so bad you would think it didn't count. I also tryed this setup in Windows Vista 64 but witht he exact same results. Is there something I am missing here? I mean, does this benchmark suck so bad, or is this just me and my rig? Thoughts? Girish
What do you mean by 'removing AA'? AFAIK, there is no AA in the game. Did you apply any tweaks/mods? If so, get rid of them. And there is nothing wrong with your rig; it's fine. Try defragging your hard drive and use the -memrestrict command. If you're using any other commands, get rid of them.
