Mods v2 Fix

Hey guys

Not sure if this is old news or not so ill post anyway.

OK I think I got mods to work for second editon(V2.0) of SA. BEFORE YOU GET TOO EXCITED PLEASE READ EVERYTHNG.

Go to www.megagames.com and download the San Andreas v1.0 FIX.(trying to be careful with my wording) take the file you downloaded and place it in the SA main dir- when asked to replace file say yes. Now you should be able to install mods for version 2.0(note--you will have to start the game in the games directory, short cuts will no longer work)

Now possible problems...........So far I have got everything to work, however I have noticed a few things. For example, I downloaded a new skin for taxi's, The new taxi's show up and run fine but the old taxi's also pop up here an there. Im not sure if this is the games random car spawner or an incompatability issue, So far no crashes. Also note to self, if you die or end up at a hospital it does take a few minutes for the game to reload so be patient. I have only been playing with this for a few hours so try this at your own risk.

To the forum moderators I know you guys probably do not like ppl posting about megagames etc. But its the only way ppl with v2.0 can use mods. Its not like I told ppl to go to the other site W**** to download the whole game. please do not delete this post
