The JD
First of all, Welcome to the forums! Now in order to get the mp3's to show up in the game you'll need a certain codec. I'm not sure what the codec is but I know that for some reason, if you download the latest version of Quicktime Player and install it, the game then seems to recognize the user tracks. Try this out and see if it helps.
Slayer
It's simple to put custom sountrack in VC. Yous put them in the right folder. The extension must be .wav or .mp3 .wav doesn't need a codec and you get MPEG audio layer III codec along with windows, so it should all work out fine unless you've screwed up something with codecs. When you do all this, a new radio station "mp3 player" should appear in VC.

B-RENT
DUDE instead of useing the lame radio just run Winamp, or whatever player you use in the backround. its as simple as that. that works for me cause i have literally 50 gigs of music and its hard to pick out favorites..
