need help with ninja outfit skin please?

I'm playing gta sanandreas pc, does anyone know why my skins aren't working? I extracted the skins folder, right clicked my GTA Icon, scrolled down to properties, Double clicked GTA 3 icon in the models folder ( bringing up spooky tool ) replaced the txt and dff files with the new txt dff files and clicked rebuild archive ... This skin repaces the gimp suit and when I put the gimp suit on in my game my game screen goes blank and disapears.

Also happened with a different skin but the readme said I had to paste the bmps to the skins folder there is no skins folder I looked everywhere....? Also It isn't because I have second edition I used downgrade patch.

So if anyone could help me with this I would really appreciate it... thank you
