k, i tried to play it and for all my game saves it would start me at the verry begining, so i downgraded, and my game save worked, now i just need to test a mission. ill edit this if it works or not ok cool missions work, now on to installing the mods i guess

reinstalled, and didnt downgrade or mod any files

this game takes like 9 years to reinstall :S

that happened to me last night, i reinstalled the game and re downgraded, but i had modded some cars and such which caused me to crash. i also have error reporting shut off so it crashed to desktop or xfire just closed it on me

hi, im having a problem with GTA SA on verison 1.0, i installed 2 car mods, and since them i cant play a mission, i backed up my gta3.img but when i load the old 1, my game save will not load, it gets to half then stops, and my computer locks up..... is there anything that could fix this? i like the car mods so i really dont want to get rid of them idk if this makes a difference, but when i bought the game it was the Seccond Edition DVD version, and my friend told me to downgrade to 1.0 so i can play SA MP actually now it looks like, at any cut scene it messes up. i got busted i guess for the first time before, and it locked up
