    There is, of course, online forums. Those are great ways to meet people, have friendly chats, debate random things, find out new stuff, etc.

    I mod on a metal trading forum so that has the potential to consume hours of my time. I also ride BMX, play bass, and watch movies with friends or gf (all granted if I'm not addicted to a video game). Boredom sucks, kill it!

    Hi, I'm new (at the moment) and I'm looking forward to GTA:SA for the PC and modding it! I made a bunch of mods for VC, including the first nude stripper skin, the Wendy's van, and me and my friend released Phil's Delorean for VC with a few new features.

    I'm a global moderator on another IPB, so I know how to behave myself :innocent:

    Can't wait till SA comes out for PC, I'm quite moist :dribble:

    For all of you that have been playing the PS2 version, what are your thoughts on people like myself who have (painfully) abstained from playing the game so far? Are you guys prepared for a bunch of people asking the same questions that have probably been asked so many times before? I saw it happen with GTAVC, hope you guys are prepared for the questions. :gappy:

    I'm just really anticipating the moddability, since I did a bunch of mods for VC.

    Sidenote: is there anyplace on this board for showcasing mods?

    (I know, a lot for one topic, bear with my new-ness :wacko: )

    My friend came to me for help on getting rid of it, but she won't even download the basic spyware and virus removal programs because she's "not allowed to download anything." Now they're calling in a professional to get rid of it. Waste of money.

    Stuff like that is just too bad, but I guess that separates the geeks from the noobs, eh? :)

    A good rule of thumb is to put your mouse over the link (AIM) and see what the extension is. If it's a jpeg or gif, then I would trust it. If not, then ask the person what it is to make sure they're sending it and not some program.
