in a previous save i have bought the malibu club but couldnt finish the missions becouse i couldnot win the race... do you have any tips of how to win the race?

i got to the point in vc that i have finished all of the small missions in the secend city( you know: the bikers, the aunt, the haitens) and id diddnt got any new missions is it ok? and how do i get new missions? thx for the helpers
