  1. I have no idea why, but plugging in and plugging out a gamepad occasionally and pressing esc like mad whilst scrolling the mouse wheel like mad gets SA to respond and work normally and it lasts for about two hours (and then you need to do the mad thing agin). What a great solution to share with the entire community of SA issued players.
  2. Hi, if you guys have a(n extremely) good memory, you might remember me posting something similar to this about half a year ago. Back than my video card was outdated, now I think I have something else. I think that ever since I have installed SA:MP (a long time ago) the bugs begin showing up. The mouse gets acceleration automaticlly (I don't think it's even an ingame option), the sound screwes at times, the casino guards hate me, when I reach a save point it dissapears altogether with all of the other ones (including the map icons), CJ's model moves slower than my mouse, instead of a slippery ride I get a slippery camera when it rains (also the sound won't work when it rains, but thats a common problem right?), the game keeps shooting the shotgun for no reason, et cetera. I have (after a long time of giving up hope) uninstalled SA:MP, reinstalled SA, checked my drivers, and nothing. Specs: OS: Win XP Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 6600 Processors: Pentium 4 CPU 3.00GHz RAM: 1.5 GB
  3. Yes, I tried these stuff. How suckish is 1.1? I don't want to make my game suckish D:
  4. Uhh now I think the audio is messing up the same way it does as when its rainy (in the game), if that helps.
  5. Uhhh I've used SA:MP for quite a while so I don't think it did anything. Also, tried removing it (gta-sa.set), not helping.
  6. Uhhh I just tried to open SA today and it worked. I didn't do anything, that's exetremly odd. Unless opening the SA:MP debug does some magic... @RanxeroX: And where are these saves, exactly? @Urbanoutlaw: You are right, I wrote card instead of driver. Anyway, new problem, most of the sound effects don't work, and some do but really weak.
  7. Updating is what started this whole thing did you even read my post?
  8. I don't have any mods... what will reinstalling help? will I still have my saves? And also, this happened once, so I de-updated my card (found an old update somewhere) and GTA SA worked, but then all of the other games gut really slow and I had to update agin. I REALLY don't wanna deupdate and update every time I wanna play SA O.o.
  9. I updated my card(edit: driver*) (PX6600TD) and now GTA just crash when I open it... uh.. other games and stuff works fine.
