  1. Not "not intended for games", but is intended for entry-level or casual games. You can play SA on medium settings with an 8400GS, but you need to have a better one if you want to play IV decently. I read that A Intel GMA 4500MHD Is as good as a 8400GT, but that card sucks too XD
  2. You really should get a new Core 2 Duo/Quad Processor, cause Pentium 4 sucks so bad, with his bad technology.
  3. Statistics Average FPS: 28.70 Duration: 37.28 sec CPU Usage: 77% System memory usage: 77% Video memory usage: 100% Graphics Settings Video Mode: 1280 x 1024 (60 Hz) Texture Quality: High Render Quality: High View Distance: 32 Detail Distance: 70 Hardware Microsoft® Windows Vista" Ultimate Service Pack 1 Video Adapter: NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT Video Driver version: 180.84 Audio Adapter: Speakers (High Definition Audio Device) Intel® Core2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz File ID: benchmark.cli And Its working great!, Im using 839mb of videomemory for this:P , Although, I oc-ed my GFXcard a little, its a great improvement thoiugh!
  4. The only thing you need to work on is your processor:P Its not a DualCore, the rest seems fine
  5. You have plus/minus 75euros left, a 9600gt costs a little over 100$ now, maybe you could find an extra credit:S, but a 8600gt cost 70 to 80$, although it is a slower card, you still can play it on medium i guess:P hmm about the motherboard i just found these two: GIGABYTE GA-E7AUM-DS2H-it comes with a NVIDIA GeForce 9400 $134.99 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16813128363 ASUS P5N7A-VM LGA 775-it come with a NVIDIA GeForce 9300 $119.99 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16813131348 so should i stick with my old plan or buy one of these and wait till i have some money to buy a new graphics card? or is there any cheaper video card that you can advice me with Personaly, i think you should stick with your first plan, buy a 8600gt, its way better, than 9300 and 9400series, and its integrated:P so thats always suckish
  6. You have plus/minus 75euros left, a 9600gt costs a little over 100$ now, maybe you could find an extra credit:S, but a 8600gt cost 70 to 80$, although it is a slower card, you still can play it on medium i guess:P Definitely not with that shitty GFXcard:P the rest seems fine
  7. Would you be so kind to tell us what kind of videocard you have, but the rest seems fine, although you could buy 2 gigs of extra ram, always handy!
  8. I dont know for sure;P Cause It says it needs the 7900GT! I dont know if it will make a huge difference between 7900GS and 7900GT, will check that for you on NVIDIA.com . Well i think it makes a lil difference in clockspeeds, but maybe its because of the less amount of shaders between Gegorce Go 7900GTX and Geforce Go 7900GS.
  9. Yesh, you are one of the chosen who can actually play GTA4 in low/medium graphics:P, i guess
  10. Recommended System Requirements OS: Windows Vista - Service Pack 1 / XP - Service Pack 3 Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad 2.4Ghz, AMD Phenom X3 2.1Ghz Memory: 2 GB (Windows XP) 2.5 GB (Windows Vista) 18 GB Free Hard Drive Space Video Card: 512MB NVIDIA 8600 / 512MB ATI 3870 I pass, and The NVIDIA Geforce 9600GT is way better than the 8600GT, the 9600GT is compareable with the 8800GTS 640MB :D, Thank you God! Hallelujah:P. Bt why does it has such heavy system requirements?
  11. Hyperthreading just makes your processor go a bit faster, but it's irrelevant. No, it won't work better with an nVidia card, that's just who makes your motherboard chipset but it won't affect your graphics card. I have an nforce chipset as well and my ATi 3870 works wonderfully. You realize that the GX2 sells for between $300-$500 and the 280 is between $350-$700 For the 4850, a card THAT much cheaper to be that high on the benchmark list, makes it an absolutely astounding card. You notice he said 5x...as in 5 San Andreas processes. I don't care what kind of graphics card you have, you're not running 5 instances of a game without taking a performance hit. Yes, you're right... didnt' realize that there was such a big difference in price. So, the ATI seems the best deal. I have to get sth before GTA IV PC gets out. Thank you very much. It was a lot of help. Keep in mind, that some games perform better with ATI's than Nvidia's Bioshock does much better with ATIcards then with Nvidia cards
  12. Your videocard isnt the best, but i guess it works for medium/high settings, and your processor and Ram are very good, and at least you can play with Dx10 which probably makes a huge difference:p
  13. What kind of Core 2 Duo? and with that Gfx card, probably not. It's a really lowendcard. So you could upgrade that one I'm planning to buy a notebook with this specs: Intel DualCore T2330 3gb Ram DDR2 667Mhz 160GB Harddisk Nvidia Geforce 9300M Graphics. DVDRW Duallayer Could it Play GTA4 on low settings?
  14. Yeah, even the crappiest games run chunky or don't run at all on integrated cards. I guess he has an Intel GMA X3100, and that card, its a real pain in the ass XD
  15. i think the 9600GT is an overrated card, it cat even run SA on full, it gives me 10-14 FPS when i do Probably the rest of your PC sucks, because i have a Nvidia Geforce 9600GT, and when I run SA on full, i still get like 120-140 frames per seconde, or you're just lying.
