AMD Athlon 64 processor 3000+ 1.79 GHz 1.50 gb of ram Nvidia GeForce 7300 GS anything else?

ok ive installed the game and tried to run it, it comes up with the cd icon but then nothing happens, ive already tried re installing it and tweaking with my audio and video settings as well as updating my video driver... what do i do?
