i find it difficult to understand you don't know what imgtool is.. ... but w.e imgtool 2.0 is a program used for moding games. you can istal mods downloaded from sites like this, then use imgtool to replace the files. you can also, rebuild the archive, thusly not only replacing the files on your computer but on the game itself. so, what i did, was i downloaded a few gun mods, changing the look of some of the guns found in the game. i also used the white CJ mod ... the one with the best looking pics... i used imgtool to replace the files, and i followed all the instructions both from the readme files, and the videos i found on youtube.

hello, my name is Bryan. i just downloaded imgtool 2.0, and several fun little mods for GTA san andreas. i was on youtube, figuring out exactly how to use this nifty little tool, when i came across a posting that said, 'vista doesn't support imgtool and your gta will crash' well, im pretty sure thats what happend to me, i installed/replaced the files for 'white cj' and now whenever i try to start a new game i get half a loading bar, and it freezes. my whole computer freezes, it wont let me exit. i end up restarting my computer! so, if you guys could tell me, if this is true, or i fuckt up my replacing, and i'll just uninstall and do it again. or perhaps there is a patch for imgtool ... thanks alot!
