Adding IPL files to the game?

OK i finally got the IPL helper working the other day (the one where you can place weps and cars onto the map) and i created some files but now i have them i dunno what to do with them.

I've added them into the user directory and all the files in the GTA:SA directory folder!

So please someone tell me where i put them so they work in the game.

OR

Do i hve to have the IPL editor running and then start up SA?

I'm really stuck/unsure on this one so please help i'm begging!

Also how do i add new gun sounds into the game

find the gta.dat file in the data folder wich has a load of lines that go something like

#data\maps\industrial.ipl

then you have to add the ipl line (directory to the ipl file) at the end of the list.

thats how you instal map's ipls' and cols'

no garantees that itl work though because i havn't got mine to work yet.
