Urbanoutlaw Posted June 10, 2007 Share Posted June 10, 2007 You look like you have a conflict. STEP 1 - BACKUP ANY FILE YOU PLAN TO EDIT!!! Did you remove or rename the original piece from your .IMG file? Did you rebuild your archive when you were done? The new model should have a .DFF (the 3D model) & a .TXD (the texture maps used by the model). Renaming is a simple matter of adding "old", "OEM" or the like to the name. Make sure the mew DFF & TXD have the original name, if the game calls the model & can't find it, you get the results you described. I've also noticed the same effect from tampering w/ the file SHOPPING.DAT in your DATA folder. I've seen in come of the .IMG tools reference to not using the "Find & Replace" option, instead advising to manually find, delete or rename (I usually export to desktop & delete) and replace w/ the new model.
