PC Version Targeting Question

Is it possible to lock on to people in the PC function, i've bound it to a key but it doesn't seem to respond. Is this a specefic problem of the PC version or is it just me?

I presume you mean target lock w/ weapons. It should work just fine. Look in your OPTIONS & see if your set for CLASSIC

or MOUSE & KEYBOARD. As I recall, M&K gives you more precise aim but no target lock. I use it for the minigun & shooting

range.

Are you using a controller (if not, you might not get the CLASSIC option, not sure)? If not, try a PS2 style controller, they

make driving a breeze in GTA.

hmm, I have same problem on my Vice City on PC, but I use my PS2 controller. How do I set the target lock on my PS2 controller?

You push R1 to lock on to people. I think R* did that because the PC is easyer to control.

Auto-target only happens if its sellected for gamepad.

GTA3, VC & SA (on PC) allow re-mapping your controller. I use the PS2 settings from VC as a general template for any

game that allows it.
