Vertigo Posted July 9, 2007 Share Posted July 9, 2007 Before I unlocked the east island, I used the yankee method to get over there early to get the red balloons and take over the last Cholo business. The Sharks also left their businesses unoccupied, so I took a few. Now, I've unlocked the East Island, have done Accidents will happen and unfriendly competition, and am up to turn on, tune in, bug out. I've unlocked the smuggling and drugs businesses, but no robbery businesses will spawn. The Bikers had one at some point. I took over one of their drug businesses west of the North Point Mall, then saved the game and turned off. When I reloaded the game, the robbery business had been taken over by the Sharks. Now, there aren't any robbery businesses. I tried attacking a site then leaving it unoccupied so that a rival gang might form a robbery business, but they won't make one, only one of the other businesses. Has anyone else encountered this? Posted July 9, 2007 Share Posted July 9, 2007 I'm not sure how to resolve the problem but I heard if you take over all Empires that are in order from Drugs, Smuggling, and Robbery, you'd be alright but if you take over Robbery Empires too early to the point where there are none left, then I believe there's no hope of ever unlocking Robbery because you didn't get the other two first. When I unlocked the 2nd island, I unlocked the drugs business first, then the smuggling business. Rashon. Posted July 9, 2007 Share Posted July 9, 2007 Oh, now I remember it. You may be in trouble already since there are no more Robbery Empires. If you haven't already taken over every Empire, I'd suggest letting a gang damage your Empire so much that you end up not owning it anymore and let another gang buy it to see if it ends up being Robbery but even that would be risky. I'm already at 18% because I've got all the red balloons, done the vigilante, ambulance and pimping missions, and have just finished To Victor, The Spoils.
